Sorry to hear about your bad experience. I never dealt with cyclesearch...and maybe I'm wrong for stating this but think their bikes are over-priced. I know they need to make money...but looking on ebay/craiglist and doing comparisons to their website listed prices (maybe they list them high on the website???) it's pretty ridiculous. Seems like Mitch was a dick. Hopefully their parts/sales manager sees this thread and Mitch hears about it. So now, it seems like their bikes are over priced and their one salesman Mitch and maybe his coworker aren't nice to the ladies. SAD.

I don't think I want to do anything for 30 years. I'd like to wake up and do whatever I felt like....FREEDOM. I wouldn't be lazy either. I might want to paint a room in my house, or wash my car, or cut grass, or shovel snow...I just hate the fact that I HAVE to work...and do the same monotonous things each day.

We have Informatica at work as well...small ETL team...3 folks I believe. Adobe Flex was introduced to mgmt for an internal web application that we were developing...but it got vetoed so we're using Tapestry5. I've worked with Teradata at my last job and my current job. The key to it is tuning it. If you can tune it, you're worth your weight in gold...and then some.

At my job, we use Teradata too. We're doing Active Data Warehousing. Java-based web services calling TD real-time. Pretty slick. The TD community in cbus is quite small. i'm sure we know some of the same people.

Coolant overflow reservoir was empty. I didnt open radiator.

So yesterday, I needed washer fluid. As you know, it was really cold yesterday. I was in a hurry. I popped my hood, popped the cap off, and dumped the fluid in the empty reservoir. It took about 3/4 gallon. When I put the cap back on, I realized my mistake.... I put washer fluid in to my antifreeze reservoir! Before I started my truck, I called a bunch of people. I got different opinions. My opinion was this - hell, it's better than water since this is rated at -20 degrees. Anyway, before I started my truck, I disconnected the overflow hose. I drove it a mile home. In order to drain the reservoir without removing it, I used my air compressor by inserting the compressor nozzle in to the reservoir overflow and letting 'er rip! Enjoy a laugh on me.

While going to college, I had a bank teller job when I was on break from school. After 4 summers of working there (1998 was my last summer), I was making $7/hr. hopefully, for your sake, they're paying much better now Funny story... In college i had beater cars...they typically lasted me 1 year. While working one day during Social Security check day, we ran out of cash at our small bank. The manager wrote a check to another bank that was down the street for 70k. She handed me the check and I had to go thru the drive thru of the other bank to get the cash. I looked at her and said "are you serious!?". She said the bank knew I was coming and that i was 'bonded'. So if I stole the money the bank was insured...and I would go to jail. So I picked up the brick of cash and took it back to my bank. Yes, the thought crossed my mind. And let's just say these two banks were in a terrible neighborhood...crime-ridden.

I do java work all day. well, in between youtube, or.net, espn.com, and pingpong matches. I've been doing java for about 8 years. I started with C++...that gave me nightmares! Being that your profession is graphic design, i'm not surprised that you don't like java. That's artsy...all right brain. Techy crap like java is all left brain. My point...it's rare that someone does/enjoys both. I envy the graphic design profession...I have zero artistic ability. I'm lucky my clothes match occasionally

i went after tgiving...first time in that place...and it seemed packed!!! Putty and Bananas claimed it was kinda dead compared to other times. I find it amazing that there are that many people in to guns. I'm glad i'm not a criminal...scary to think how many citizens are protecting themselves!

People who know me...know that I despise all things that are OSU. With that being said, complaining about Tressel is basically unwarranted at this stage. He wins 10+ games per year and gets you to a BCS bowl every season. I guess some fans are just plain spoiled. I know you'd like to win some of these bowl games...especially those last two NC games. Tressel is not out on the field playing. 2 years ago when Troy Smiff won the Heisman and basically had the best statistical season for an OSU QB ever, he shat down his leg in the big game. Blame Troy, not Tressel. Last year, they were simply over matched and LUCKED in to the NC game. this year, they competed to the very end...and played well. I commend him for getting Boek in to the game...he's a far better passer than Pryor - stats will prove this. If you're going to blame anyone, blame the Big10. It was 37 days since OSU last played. You dont think that layoff hurts? their season is over 2 weeks before the rest of the big teams. Mike Tomlin played all of his players in the Steelers' meaningless game vs. the Clowns...Ben Roth got concussed. Tomlin said he'd do it all over again...he didnt want his guys taking two weeks off and getting out of game shape. My point...Tressel, as much as i hate him, is a pretty good coach....you're lucky to have him. the long layoff is a bigger reason for shitty bowl performances from the big10.
