I've had a few which were caused by car drivers, but there was 1x that I caused one. It was 2005 and I was on a road heading onto a 4 lane, US42. I can't believe it, but I was DAY DREAMING and was about to run the stop sign! I came to at the last second and locked up my brakes and as I did 1 car went by at 55mph that I would've slammed into! Not one vehicle on that road but them and it was timed just perfect that I would've met them at the perfect time! I found that extremely rare! It was like it was almost MEANT for me to die that day, but I luckily came back to reality at the perfect time. FREAKED ME OUT! I remember riding away thinking,"I should be dead right now."

I'm glad my wife and I don't care. We just do Valentines.

I don't speed much in my family car, but I avoid lots of tickets on my 2 wheeler when on country roads, normally within 1-2 minutes I'm good again.

I labeled them useless since late 90's. Especially when lots of cops won't turn them on until the surprise you over a hill or something, then it's too late.

I agree with you. You make total sense with that last sentence about the 65/55 deal. Also...yeah, I like to go fast. I'm not going to lie. We all have certain things that interest us and one of mine happen to be acceleration and speed. I really never speed on interstates though. I did, but the past few years I decided I don't care to unless I'm moving with the flow of traffic which is speeding. I try to keep my speeding privately w/out witnesses on back roads. Nobody around is best for my taste.

Oh yeah, 675 around here (Dayton) just put those up. I don't like them. A motorcyclist/body can be sliced to pieces IMO. I'm guessing just like everything else in this nation, cheaper is better? I say concrete only or no wall at all.

The updates my XP did after reinstall I swore I saw some of them say active x in the updates. Isn't that a mandatory thing for windows in general? IDK, just asking.
