Becare driving it, I wouldn't go really fast. If your not changing gear ratio's. swapping out differentialns and/or bearings shouldn't take more than 3 hours if you know what your doing.

If you need any help let me know, I've did this swap quite a few times. The crank should accept a pilot bearing, haven't seen a 4.6 that wouldn't. The auto drive shaft is like a half inch or so shorter, but it will still work. I think u may need a different speedo gear also. and sometimes the flywheel and clutch bolts are tough to find. don't buy them from jegs, they're not the correct bolts.

Howard, if you want something to tow a vehicle with, your not going to get good gas mileage for anything. Just get an F250 super duty and call it a day.

I swapped over to cobra stuff so I have: 99 GT calipers, saddles, good pads and rotors and lines. all in good working condition. great upgrade for a fox body. $50

take out the heater controls and grab the radio harness's up there. message me or IM me if you need too. i've had enough 5.0's. it's an LX, where are the speakers? dash, front doors? and rear sections if your using the fronts, they are out of phase from the factory, swap the positive and negative on one side.
