I came to the show about 6:45 not knowing that I needed to will call the teamcr tickets and after being told it was $75.00 for me my wife and 13 year old son I said fuck that....

Thanks to everyone that came out, goth to HIN and the after party. Even had time to hit the driving range in Sam's front yard. HIN went well, even got some local DJ's on the main stage! We got out cars out early, so we could get ready for the night cap.

A FULL night of racing, with no issues to speak of. everyone said ti was the most racing that has gone down all year, and Im glad everything went well, and with the 40+ runs and pulls that we had, no one broke, and no cops involved!

It will be Cleveland/Akrons turn next boys. We'll get the next big meet figured out soon.

Ok, edit to make it easier for EVERYONE

Meet at lot#1 @ 12pm. The price will be $35 or $40 to enter your car, and get free admittance your you and a friend. Thats so cheap its ridiculous. We will be going straight from HIN to IPS (check http://www.ipsmotorsports.net/ for directions) a full night of "action" PM's have been sent out to core guys that are coming down, so pm them for details on after hours, or just ask at the show.

Those who are not going to the show, plan on meeting at the spot around 12am. This should be a great night!

Ive been working closely with Thanh, Marketing rep for HIN. 2 quick things before I head out of the office-

First,we wanted to get all the local forum enthusiast together as one united group, what we called team CR. Everyone from this forum, and all the other local car forums will be here (including sick cars like Jamie's supra). Even if you are already in the show, please PM me your name, and car, so we can get you in to group. We will have our own DJ, and you guys can bring a TV, xbox, or whatever you like so we can enjoy our given "chill spot".

Second, if your not int he show, but our thinking about attending with out without your car-I have been authorized to get us STUPID cheap car entrance fees, WITH Saturday roll in! It will be no more than $40 for your car, and one guest. Considering the retail ticket fee is $50, you'd be stupid not to bring in your car.

Domestic, Import, or Truck, we want you with team CR so we can show HIN, and all its sponsors we are a scene that is worth recognizing. A strong showing here will lead to more events, and more notoriety for us in the future.

Tentative meeting plans- Everyone must be in the Columbus Convention Center - East Surface Lot around 10am. This was we can have enough time to get the cars into the hall, and situated where they need to be. Its #1 on this map

Its been said that when we roll out, we should be out all night. As Thanh said, you guys should be happy that a National event is willing to come and spend their time.money/and effort in our scene.

There is already a large group of us attending, and we have a live DJ that will be spinning in our own area where our cars will be grouped. that, and with the TEAMCR discount, it should be a great time!

Register your whip, and make it happen. Also, Linn, and the rest of you V8 guys should come as well. Lets show them what OUR scene is about!

Well, Thanh and I came to a head. Here's whats up-

We get $10 off Car entry fees, AND $10 GENERAL ENTRY, which is nearly 50% off the regular price. All the cars that are registering, and are already registered and are part of the Ohio Street Scene, will try and be grouped together in the same area in which we are being given booth space for DJ's, A TV, XBOX, whatever we want to bring to chill in/on, and have the ability to promote CR, CR, OhioHondas, and all of our other Grass Roots Level forums. Again, this is FREE for us, so I think we should organize this, and make it happen!

I lived there for a summer. Taught Surf lesson on Waikiki.

I love Oahu, but Im a city boy. For a honeymoon, I would stock to Maui. More "alone time" could be had there. You could also go to the North Shore of Oahu for that "backcounty" feel.

There is few things better than f-in in a rain forest, in a storm.

Everything else in the tread is pretty much spot on, so I have nothing more to add.

Im talking to 3 strippers right now. One of them I would actually consider dating.

I would say let her do it. The hate the clients, I have never heard one rant and rave about a client or her job. In the end, its just a job.

The big perk is a HUGE amount of disposable income, that they LOVE to dispose onto those that "care" about them.

After months on end toiling with various shifting issues in the RX-7, I am fed up with it. Its shifts OK ow, but with the weak clutch, I cant put down more than 500whp without blowing through it, That, mixed with lack-luster tranny performance...and I have had enough!

Seeing that I picked up one of my old GT's last week (still bone stock)I only see one viable option, but the RX-7's set up on my stock GT.

Will I have time to turn a stock 150hp GT into a China 45'd 9k shifting possible rod slinging monster by Saturday with a 9-5, and other "extracurriculars" that demand my attention on a daily basis?

I doubt it, but Im pretty good at making the impossible, possible. Picks and updates to come, while Im not at work.

Cliffs-I am putting together a car out of spare parts, zip ties, and bubble gum in a ast ditch effort to put up a good number at the Buschur Racing event this weekend with no time to do so. Wish me luck

Or, you can just continue to be an asshat when people offer you good cheap daily drivers.
