  1. in all honesty the first compact probably wasnt a neon or civic was probably a Omin or some other turbo dodge. so there is its settled... or maybe not if not please referr back to my earlier post.

Honda had cars here in the 70's

Ever heard of a VW bug?

Your WAY off buddy as far as the first "compact".

And if your refering to the fist 9 sec compact, it took the recent inovations of the DOHC 16v head swap, new turbo technology, and the probable help of NO2 to get that junk in the 9's.

I would think the first 9 sec compact was a Honda, maybe early 90's.

  2. Sean, silver srt-4 and another claimed the NEON was the first compact car to run a 9 sec 1/4 mile (streetable car) ...

well I found evidence that proves them wrong:

"If you don’t know Jason, then you don’t know fast FWD street cars. Jason has been one of the only people to run a 9 second ET in a car that weighs approx. 2400 lbs, has full interior, does not use wheelie bars, and can be driven to get milk for your morning cereal. Jason qualified #1 with an impressive 10.06 @ 148 mph. IN the first round of qualifying, Jason killed his competition running an eye popping 9.878 @ 149 mph. Wow!!!! That is one fast FWD street car."

    ;)

    not the case, but ok?

  3. what does "11.00 BB" represent?

11.0x@127 is what he ran. He had a Big Block Ford motor (+No2). I found this out when he stoped my when I was driving through staging to ask what I had. It was funny to hear his suprise, he though his car broke b/c I passed him so hard, but that was his best pass to date. He was like WTF when he got his slip. Car was VERY well put together, super clean.

Yeah, its me. It funny that you cant hear my car AT ALL from the noise of the stang, and then the crowd's reaction after they see who got the win light. turn the speakers up twards the end of the vid. :)

As for the clutch, I had a 2 year old ACT 2600PP (thanks Mikey) and a 6 puck ACT disc (slightly used) that worked flawlessly all season. I not sure what I will run next season.

  4. Think of this, but it keeps going and going and going, with no places besides like exits for cops to hide on from what I can tell. Thiers a wall on both sides of the highway :) :burn:

No Exits? What do you have to have fucking Scotty beam you up to the highway?! Where's Kirk when you need him.

There is an Exit every few miles.

And thats why god invented spotters, there is ALWAYS a hidding spot-its car night. Think of a black guy at night with his eyes shut.....

  5. You know normally I agree with you but I'll have to take the other side of the fence on this one. If there was a date it was said to be done which it sounds like there was per this post, then why couldn't Jason call him and let him know it would be a few days longer as well? Business paractices like that will go a long way for yourself.

    2nd

Sound like a discount is in order....

  6. Oh, and your guys 270 or whatever is MINT compared to Clevelands bullshit highways. Their smooth and streight, we where like damn.

    What?

    480-130th to 176...

    90 after dead man's curve....

    271-Anywhere!

    71 after 82....

    The PIKE-Anywhere!!

    224-the A-town strip...

    all MINt

    I can go on.........

  7. that t3/t4 housing in the pic is slightly larger then the turbo i have on the truck right now, the Holset is my summer upgrade

i plan on making enough power to reverse the rotation of the earth

Your going to need more than the smallest H series holset put on a Dodge to do that.

Good Junkyard buy, but anything larger than a 57 trim is larger (compressor wise) than an hy-35.

  8. You guys are insane if you think Bush isn't gonna have a career in the NFL. Even if its just as a Return man/thrid string wide out he will probably still bust heads in that position.

He has close to 100 yard games on his bad days. NFL career will probably be close to how Marshall Faulk was in his better years. Good running back, great recieiving back.

I'm not really a fan of his, but he does some crazy shit and has put numbers up over the year(s) that are hard to argue with.

More like a ricky Williams. Look at his sucess-and HE also won the Hiesman.

  9. What the fuck ever.......

Yeah Reggie Bush sucks, name a defense in the big ten that could contain him or that USC offense....

Why don't you go ahead and state that Reggie Bush ....

Well, looks like Texas is having no issue with it.

And he will suck in the NFL.
