    Thanks for the support. We have arranged some sponsors for prizes and have a list we are gonna finish tonite of how the prizrs will be awarded. We are also going to run the Dyno day for 2 days based on the number of requests we have recieved. Sat. 9a.m.- approx. 9p.m. and Sun. from 10a.m. -3p.m.

     

    $500.00 to the street car (liscensed,insured, and driven in) that makes the most power over 1000h.p. for at least 500 rpm. If no car hits the 1000 h.p. mark $100 will go to the car that makes the most power of the 2 days.

     

    $100.00 will go to the car 8-10 cyl. that makes the most power of the 2 days

     

    $100.00 will go to the car 4-6 cyl. that makes the most power of the 2 days

     

    There will also be several other prizes from local shops such as Zehners Exhaust, The Tint Shop, Danavito's Pizza, Mason's, and others to be announced.

     

    We will also be giving away some dyno time as well as some tuning packages.

     

    Some of the prizes will be awarded just based on participation and or luck of the draw. There will also be a 50/50 raffle with the winner picked on sunday. You do not have to be present at the end of the event or at the time of the drawing, winners will be notified if they are not present.

     

    Tune in to 100.7 WMMS on Sat. May 27 for details.

    Jp you going to Akron horsepowers dyno shootout on saturday? Going to be some good racing on saturday night after there done!!

     

    If im in town, I may be in Cinci trying to collect on another wad of cash.

    Would you guys just SHUT UP! Colt boy has an impressive beater sleeper car. IPS does great work, it's proven. The Doc is just out to have some fun and you guys up north are making it into more than that. Quit bashing someone's business, it makes it personal.

     

    The $1000 on the line makes it more than fun..

     

    And continued attacks from Team IPS made this "personal". If the car was finished in a mildly timely manner, the race would have already happened, and none of this would be needed.

    7 Months later and the same response is still surprisingly a perfect fit. Its amazing how long things take to do when you are not allowed to use JB-Weld, Duct Tape, Super Glue, Coat hangers, or Coffee cans isnt it? Nevermind, its a lost cause arguement.

     

    I take back my statement about preferring to just talk in circles with you, send back your PR Guy again...

    Colt, no offense, but it's ridiculous when I say it is. Not when you, or Jamie, or Desperado, or Linn, or Powers, or anyone else says it is.

     

    Maybe you're just really that eager to get a beatdown. :)

    Man, there is too much to this thread...

     

     

    just from reading the NE OHIO guys' posts the "get the car done" blah blah blah gets fucking lame as shit. Wow it was almost a good comeback the first time but now it is more played out then a kenny chesney song. Shut your man pleasers. Spending such money I would expect to wait a while and having the best working on each part.

     

    I would agree, if Jamie didn't wait a 1/5th on the time for his,and is making more power than Tilley will see (unless he sprays hard), and is STILL most likley the hottest fuxking think on 4 wheels I have seen on the street.

    And thats with ONE person wrenching on it!

     

     

    Trrbotrio, your unfounded hate for me is odd, and I dont need to elaborate any more than your long ranting posts directed twards me have already highlited. You are quite the angry idiot, but I found this funny...

     

    Tell you what.     It is my opinion, after reading all of this nonsense, that the best thing for all parties to do is to establish a deadline for this race to happen that is mutually agreed upon by both parties. It seems ridiculous to me for people to slander a shop just because they have a car when no real, firm deadline was ever established. Just because 1 of the 2 cars is currently up and going doesn't seem like a good reason to pick on the other car if something wasn't agreed upon.

     

    Just pick a race date. If then, the car still isn't ready, then it seems more reasonable to me to flame away. Otherwise.........

     

     

    There is no reason the car should not be done RIGHT NOW-with all the claims/promises/and blind shit talking from Team IPS. I think 5 weeks is more than enough. It has been a rediculous amount of time as is.

    Damn where are you finding bikes to do a 90 roll at. We can hardley get 40 rolls with bikes.

     

     

    Just go to bike night at QS&L, and park off in the cut. All the bike guy's balls are swollen from being around other bikes, so they will agree to anything, especially in a race it a little ol' 4 banger.

    what you need to do it tint the windows and go to a different city; start with 14 second cars take 50 from each one and move your way down to the 10 second cars taking 50 from each. you should be able to make $300 on a weekend night.

     

    And then move on to the bikes. :)

     

    I love bike guys, because 99% of them assume that NO car can hang with them, and so they will agree to nearly any race I propose.

     

    90 roll anyone? :)

    No No2 for sure. The things makes more than enough to sling the used Eagle rods as it is, and its not even turned up. My sponsor, JM Fab, asked my about the bungs, and I told him to weld them in there just in case.

     

    As it stands, just in case will neevr come!

     

    There is a video of the 148mph pass in the Kitchen.

     

    Matts V8, its an off the shelf standard bearing GT42. Technically a PTE, but the turbo/housings are 100% Garrett.

     

    And yes, Autozone spark plug wires and stock ignition FTW.

    Also, IMO, the Colt isn't ugly. Is is, however, again IMO, one of the greatest sleepers I have ever seen. Sleeper, though, is much different than ugly, at least as far as I am concerned.

    I was thinking about tint, but the car needs many other things before I can dabble with cosmetic stuff. The budget is tight now as well, so that does not help.

    Colt-

    That is the fastest ugly car I have seen. Get some shit straightened out on that car and a 15X is in reach. Congrats! 150 is a milestone for a street car that few people ever attain. I am impressed!

     

    However I am that .01% of the people on this board. Even with ~15 less octane points.

     

    You still need the #'s to prove it, dyno chart or not :) Come up north and get-er-done! Then we can make some nice videos on 480. :eek:

     

    And I dont think the cars ugly. It has a nice body line (for an econobox!)

    As for the Tach, yes, I dont have one, The fucking car eats one every 2 weeks and Autometer dicks around with warrenty shit, so until then.......I dont know-drive it like a man, be one with the car, yin and yang....

     

    As for the rev limiter bouncing, 8 inch slick on a 5 inch stock steelie=weak contact patch. It happens.
