Those ricer tails stock? (serious question since it was in an accident)
-
I just downloaded the latest beheading.....Ugh! Savages! Can't imagine doing that or having that done to me.
And thats why your not a savage.

I'd get an attoney and send suit to Ford. That shit should NOT HAPPEN unless your making 1500whp and holshotting the fucker on 33's
I'd be livid.

True. If I were building it as a drag car I would make it A2W. If it were a street car, A2A. If it were budget I'd probably go A2A.
Street, Yes
Budget, always.
They have seemingly good China A2W set ups on frozenboost.com

You would spray CO2 into the engine?? :gabe:
Seriously though, CO2 is cheap enough to spray on the intercooler to help.
I've had limited to poor results doing that-and Co2 is not cheap per use IMO. for example-I used a dual paint ball cartitge set up back in 01 to spray a stock DSM intercooler. I would get 5-6 1/4 mile passes at best with that. At $20 a fill per tank ( back in 01) I dont feel the results were worth it. I did nto see siginigcant drops in IAT-just better temps at the top end. say 80 at the line rise to 90 instread of rise to 120.
-
If you do A2A you could spry the intercooler to combat heat soak.
Anything I'd spray the IC with would be better served being spraying into my motor.

I have a nice A2A Greddy 4" thick core off a supra if you are interested.
Personally I believe A2A on street cars. Plenty of power to be made with air to air coolers. You wont be pushing enough power with those manifolds to worry about going air to water.
PM me details and a price.
Keep in mind those Ohio boys went 7's @ 200mph on truck manifolds. I'd say they are mankin power :dumb: IMO any reduction in intake temp will yield a benefit in power-especially on a FI car. The fact that you can get below ambient on a A2W is huge. That being said I am still leaning towards A2A for simplicity and repeatability’s sake.

She lives!
First fire. Runs/sounds great. Took a while to get the clutch to work, but we are all square now. Still needs a good brake bleed before she is back on the ground. I will also be doing a full review of these AWESOME turbos shortly. IMO these are a game changer in terms of value per dollar spent.
I am obviously undecided on the inter cooler. I am torn between A2A and A2W I have build a few of both set ups, but never used an A2W on my personal car.
Opinions?

At least on mobile that list is a bit confusing. Seems like the fastest xxxx list with xxxx in a xxx car under xxxx weight. We need a highest hp list etc for cr like we so top fastest
It may be better for PC-there is a HP and trap speed biased list, then broken down by motor size

1) This car would meet you goals. Z brown went 8.71@163 in full street trim with HVAC, and a quiet full 3 inch exhaust. Only difference is an 8.8 rear.

2) If you really want to off it, post it on NoRotos.

Details man, details!
You post this on Ls1 tech? This would be #3 the Overall Ls1/Ls6 stock block record list.

Cool flyby

Thankfully they have agreed to "relook" at the valuation and will give me credit for modifications I made.
Thank you to IPS for providing receipts in literally 5 minutes for over $2,600 in updates. (I had no idea I had that much invested
)
Did you buy used Maggie? LOL

EBC are great for a true DD-stop well cold. Never had isseu with them coming apart.

I'd consider offing my truck for 3k.
2000 F350 4x4. Dead nuts reliable. Can pull a house off its foundation if need be.

Sad to hear.
Hate to say it, the burnout in on the limiter may have done it in if your oil was not up to temp. (it takes a while for oil to come to temp-typically my oil is not at 200 by the time I get to work in the V). At idle, it could take 15+ minutes to get to temp.
IT is what it is though! Hope the Crank looks ok

JP has a kid?!

Yup. He's already cooler than me.

Your both dicks

Understandable, not worth the risks these days.
Drove to Ohio in a rental, slept for 4 hours and drove the Colt home. It sat like this and didn't move till I sold it :lolguy:

I bet it was a fun drive :megusta:
I have all kinds of stories involving that car, good and sketchy
How much would it cost to toss something together like that? Would be unreal to have as an all around fun car.Honesly-between 4k and 20k. It depends on what you have already, how thrifty your are, and what your skillset it.
For example- Our Own Phill sold a clean AWD roller on here for $300 or so dollars, with harness. Find a Colt for Scrap on C list and a used motor/turbo combo and your have 100% of what your need for the swap for less than a G Bone. The DSM forums are a gold mine for high dollar part outs, I dont think I have purchased anything new for a DSM besides spark plugs since 2004
-
It was a joke. Unlikely I will sell mine.
I'm not.
Everything I own has a price!

We should NOT fuck around over there anymore. Troops here-keep troops at OUR airports that have international flights, tighten our borders. Let them kill each other, they have been since we have had written record-they are in the stone age-leave them there.
If it gets out of hand the countries that surround that region will have to step up. Let it be there problem.
-
Yes, lets start a bidding war.
Someone could take mine for $12,500 Cash. I doubt anyone with a V in this thread would go lower
-
Does this thing see any street time?
More than it should, and usually after beers have been drank. :dumb: Its not less street friendly form the Colt you purchased from him. Didnt you drive that car to NC too?
I called out all of the locals in advance to have their hand at it for the shootout, no one bit. Since we both have kids not we cant get out to Mexico as much as we used to.
