  1. I would normally not post this but because you are having some issues with selling I will tell you what made my house go from no foot traffic to sold...

Number one thing if it's been showing that it's on the market for a long period of time, take it off the market for a few weeks so it now shows up as new on the market. Also, eliminate clutter, paint walls bright colors, and remove personal items. I know it sounds petty, but no clutter, bright walls, and no personal items (this includes crosses, etc..) People want to be able to picture themselves in your home, personalizing it makes them feel like they are in someone else's home. Also fix that basement wall by the stairs, it's the first thing that I noticed when I saw that picture and a little bit of mud and paint would fix that issue quickly.

I hope this helps, it looks like a nice house and a cheap price... some easy changes should help attract that buyer :-)

And, this is what any good realtor would have suggested a few months ago.

One weekend of work, a few hundred dollars and you will likely get asking.

  2. Please share your results on the fmic. Looks perfect for a ls setup and I really dont want to drop the coin for a aps one. Are you trying to et it all done before this season ends?

Looking at the amount of internal turbualtors I doubt I will have any issues with cooling. The Treadstone units are great and proven, but this was $380 with shipping less than the comparable treadstone unit. $380 will buy me drag radials and a few gallons of Cam2 :)

What rear end are you running? I got acouple stockers if you need one.

The car came with spare stock Tii rears and axles, so I will rock these until the wheels fall off! LMK what you got NA w/ LSD or TII accepted ;)

  3. Intercooler is in. $200 of 1000+HP Ching Chang Cooling

Waiting on a 45 Deg 3 inch couplers for better fitment with my random radiator. (Hinson that came with the car is sold) and with the funds from the Hinson Radiator-it should cover the cost of the IC/Plumbing/used 80 lbs injectors. Free upgrades FTW :)

Wont have time till hopefully Sunday to try and put it all together.

  4. Hey all, my house is still not sold. I am offering a finders fee that is negotiable if anyone can find me a buyer. This can even include a 1985 Pontiac TA project car. I really have to find someone who is a serious buyer. After 30 showings no offers.

Has your agent suggested any easy changes that may attract some buyers/offers? If not, it may be time for a new agent.

  5. This one doesn't provide the same support in the hip/back area - it looks normal and goes back to its regular shape, but it has just gone soft in the middle on either side.

I looked through the reviews and I see a reviewer who said the core of this mattress is 'regular' foam, enclosed with a few inches of memory stuff all around. Can't say for sure.

For prospective buyers switching from a conventional mattress, just be aware it's a big difference. It seems firm when you first lay down, then it settles. I kind of had to learn to make the mattress conform to me when I get in.

Rolling over or leaving the bed takes more effort (you're kind of stuck in the 'hole' you've made).

Oh, and because of the way the material changes shape with pressure, you might find yourself off balance during activities. There's no bounce, either.

    YMMV

I only ask because its relevant to this topic, but what do you and whomever uses the bed regularly weight?

I am also in the market..

  6. Cool build. The 35r in a T4 was perfect for Turbo TB Supercoupes we have done in the pats.

I think you would see a LARGE gain from going with a better flowing IC set up. A dual pass with a square end tank is about he worst flowing thing you could put in front of the car.

  7. Ims issues and the coolant pipes that need the motor pulled to fix scare me, and the interior is garbage after you've been in a 997. If you're serious about a 996 though you can get one fairly cheap, good value for the money

Same could be said about a Gen 1 CTS-V vs a Gen 2

And I happy drive my Gen 1 V as a DD and let the other 25k stay in my account. :p

  8. I test drove an S 2 weeks ago. The low end is nice, but similar to the Prius I drove the week prior. I describe it as instant momentum, not thrust. Thrust is what I want. Its just odd really, and didn't do anything for me as a car enthusiast. I did not buy, and actually left thinking I would never buy. It became apparent to me that the big appeal to a Tesla is still exclusivity IMO. I am not enough of a douche to care about that. As far as the gas mileage goes, I'm not nerdy enough to drive a sports car that makes no sound. Maybe when I retire?

Even then I'd still get a NEW Prius and a Used 911, cut the mufflers off that, use the rest on hookers and blow.

    All that > Tesla

This is the best i have seen so far. Stock display with aftermarket nav and audio.

If I knew how to replicate it/didnt have other projects going on I would be all over it.

LOL Im looking at this and wondering whats currently there in my car right now:dumb:

If I was going to dump money into mine it would be the interior. The stock nav sucks, but I like some of the readings it shows. Any options for that?

Im good with the interior. Its in great shape-as far as the NAV/other stuff, if I wanted a different interior, Id buy a different car :)

Car needs new headlight bulbs at a minimum (they have different brightnesses)-I figured I have to remove the whole freaking headlight anyway, I may as well consider an upgrade.

I think all I will do over the winter is headlights (or just bubs) and lower it. I am good with the power from just an intake and tune, and 100% happy with just the muffler delete. If the clutch ever goes I will change to an Ls7 set up, but I wont fix it until its broke.

  10. Yeah dumb for the most part. Rear diff fluid on some of the early models was improperly filled and low on level. If its low you're supposed to test drive it and if there is any noise you replace the rear end. This one was good though.

Wonder who at the factory got fired for this one....
