  1. OK, I went to the bank today and got a official printout of the check. it has some numbers stamped on it and my bank was able to tell me right on the paper it was cashed by them with the date time everything you can imagine is on this piece of paper. my bank rules! they said it doesn't show up online because Ohio submitted it electronically.

now I have to try and get in touch with the tax place in Columbus. I guess Ohio isn't too good at keeping proper records. I hope I can rub it in their faces.

  2. long story short, I forgot to add in my payments from disability insurance from a accident in 2005 in with my tax return. Ok that was a honest mistake. I got a letter from ohio back in july telling me I owe them an extra $76.52. so I paid it.

I get another letter today telling me I owe that same amount but this time they don't include how they figured that amount.

now they added interest etc and it comes to $94.50.

and the kicker is my bank's website (5/3) doesn't show the image of the cashed check. the only one in my account that is MISSING!!!

    for some reason I don't think it's a coincidence:mad:

I'll let you all know what happens. I just might go off the deep end and do something that lands me in jail.

  3. I use vista and xp back to back, the xp machine is definitely lagging behind now that microsoft is ironing out all the small bumps. Service pack 1 has come out and now my machine is running flawless.

I use XP pro by the way. and Vista home premium.

I also use Gmail occasionally and don't have any problems.

it sounds to me like it's a website problem.

vista has way more security features to it. since its your works computer someone probably has blocked you from being able to access the site.

you wouldn't belive all the stuff you can allow or deny others from being able to do.

  4. there really isn't much difference in myspace and having your own website.

people post pics of themselves and other shit all the time.

if someone wanted to stalk someone all they have to do is go down to the local mall or school.

and it makes no sense why people always block out the license plates in pictures. everyone that sees your vehicle in person can see the plate anyway. again, anyone can stalk you at any time.

websites really don't make it any easier to do so.

now carry on with the tom bashing......:siterocks:

  5. what is it with you two?

I don't know either of you from adam but lizard, you seem to be the one bellyaching here. I know he pissed you off but you are making yourself look foolish. just my 2 pennies.

    carry on,:D

  6. You sound like the kid in school that blames his "F" on his teacher. You got yourself banned. No one to blame but you. Simple.

I'd suggest taking your own advice,BRYAN.

    oh no he didn't:D

sorry jerm for the continued thread jack. but hey it keeps it up top right?

localriders is a site I only visit for a few min at a time. because like lizard is saying, it's run by a bunch of " " I'm lost for a word here.

there is a few people I've met from there, and if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't ever post again. too much of a wimpy site with all of the crybabies.

like my thread I started about some dude clipping me while out riding that got shut down.

then they start in about the group that I'm part of that rides the sunday ride, known as the 10/22 sportbike romp. we named it that so some people wouldn't show up. they think we are a bunch of hooligans. but the truth is we are far from it. we ride a moderate pace and don't screw around

  7. oh ok. I never introduced myself. I had no idea who you were. rob and the others never said anything..

    next time I'll say hi.

If I go riding and need a hoodie or sweatshirt I put it over my suit. that way it doesn't really feel like I'm wearing one.

  8. too cold??? I had a tshirt and my perforated suit on. I kind of thought it was a bit chilly but not too bad.

hey by the way, do you know rob hancock? I'm thinking there was a day I drove up to putnam to hang out with rob, mike, and john at the cycle options track day back in april or something. was that you on the gsxr with a orange rear rim?

  9. so how did the ride go?

I got out down there late. around 2pm. rode all the routes I mentioned. never seen anyone but 2 guys I knew. I can't belive hardly anyone was out. such a nice day.

  10. I have only been on 165 once and we were going to got down and back up, but didn't make it very far on the way back.

I ended up having to dodge a flying bike GSXR 1000, and ended up short cutting home to get the car to head to the Hospital.

But if it is that cool I may just run him down 10 to 22 though I really don't want to hit 22 with all the issues I have heard the last few months.

But your route may be a good way.

10 and 22 suck compared to 165 and 1504. both are deserted mostly and perfect surfaces. no blind bends etc..

perfect for some good riding. it's actually the 2 best I've ridden in kentucky around here. in my opinion.

personally, doing the same road over again is risky. you just came blasting through and now headed in the same direction a cop might be if someone called on you. if you know what I mean:D

if any new riders plan on meeting up with the guys, just ride your own ride, these roads are not beginer type roads.

  11. damn I'd ask to tag along but it's only going to be 55. I'll wait and see what it's actually like before I ask to tag along.

chris make sure you take him down 165 and then turn right on 62 for maybe a mile or two to right on 1504. both are some fantasic roads. 1504 will bring you back to 62. you can take that right to 19. go down 19 a few miles to left on 539 (539 is a goat path, so be cautious) this will bring you back to Rt22. left to falmouth. right to Rt 10.

(you probaly already know all this.)

  12. ok guys we need to go on at least one ride this year before old man winter comes.

I'm down for this weekend. sunday I do the regular ride with some friends, but they might be too wild for you guys. I can do saturday though. 0r, you could come with us on sunday.

we stay in Kentucky down in the sticks. away from city traffic and cops.

yotaman, will you be around for sunday the 28th as well?

  13. stay away from the 4cyl. it wont haul but one bike. it might do two, I've never tried. its a very weak engine. producing only about 89hp at the rear tires. the v6 is rated at 180hp and 245ft/lbs of torque. thats the same torque as some early 90's V8 trucks.

I have 2 s/10's. a 4cyl and the green one in the pic with a v6. the v6 can pull a shit load. I've had my bike in the bed and 4 on a trailer. pulled fine.

gm actually recomends the automatic for towing. My V6 has a oil cooler too. factory installed.

it still isn't a v8. but a v8 engine swap in the s/10 is very common and easy.;)
