  4. you weren't supposed to shake the picture. you've been miss-informed. the picture is fully developed when you take it. but when the film is ejected from the camera it presses the layers of the film together to activate the chemical reaction that allows you to see the picture. One of the coolest things about instant photography, watching the image slowly come together, is caused by this final chemical reaction. The image is already fully developed underneath, but the opacifiers clearing up creates the illusion that it is forming right before your eyes http://science.howstuffworks.com/innovation/everyday-innovations/instant-film1.htm polaroid says not to shake it, http://www.cnn.com/2004/TECH/ptech/02/17/polaroid.warns.reut/index.html
  5. dude I just seen some guy this morning at sport tour in sharonville with the exact same bike and 30 day tags.
  6. you're just opening a can of worms in my opinion. unless you're saving like $100 bucks or something.
  7. some guy around here I think it was just got in a shit load of trouble for having his little kid sitting on the tank of his bike. I'd rather have him on the tank between my arms than on the back like that. I'm sure if a cop seen them he would have been stopped.
  8. I love my pit too but I draw the line with the lip licking. I watch her lick that butt of hers way too often lol
  9. that thing looks like a nightmare ligning up the spools with it.
  10. I bet I know how you did it. my mom lives in williamsburg.
  11. quoted for troof. but.....with someone else, there's the safety net if something happens to your vehicle etc. there are very long stretches of 75 south with no exits or anything on those exits. (gas/food etc) it would suck big time to be stranded on the side of the road late at night on that part of the highway.
  12. never go by a "suggested setting". it never works for all. it might be ok for a general ballpark but if you're really looking to fine tune your bike never use a guide from a magazine or the owner's manual. the only thing you'll benefit from the magazine article is learning what screw does what. the sag and rebound are the 2 most important or priority settings first of all. if that bike has never had the forks serviced it's way overdue. the oil is only good for so long. you can change the oil on your own pretty easy. it's a matter of taking the top cap off and draining it out and filling it back up. although you really should take it all the way apart and clean it out with brake cleaner (yes that's what suspension shops use). you'll be very surprised how much of a difference just the oil can make. I just changed mine out last week. I had put racetech's ultra slick in it about in 07. this time I used maxima racing fork oil and I can really tell with the settings at what they were. and race techs oil isn't supposed to break down like normal stuff does.
  13. I know I would ride it before I'd throw a leg over this thing....
  14. you know what they say...once you go black you're a single mom...
  15. a mag article I had several years ago didn't recommend saddle soap because it seals the pores up and makes the leather feel hotter to wear because it can't breath anymore. and they also said most suit companies said to never use any kind of silicone on leather. my a stars suit says to machine wash it and air dry laying on a flat surface.
  16. looks like their stuff for exhausts are for heat. he said his exhausts are ugly. jet hot has nice looking coatings for the exhausts. there are countless places he could have them coated. I just have always seen jet-hot stuff the most. and I doubt they're junk compared to swaintech. considering how big they are and how much industrial stuff they do and they have a lifetime warranty.
  17. 97% of the places I've been to I have coverage. if there's a cell tower close I have service. that's with a smart phone. the old flip phone I had (samsung) had shit reception compared to the one I have now. I've been to places that my buddy didn't have service and I had full bars. he has cincinnati bell. cricket isn't all that bad honestly. I'd rather pay $58 than verizon's $100 something with limited everything lol. to even come close to the same unlimited plan I have you have to shell out $170 plus taxes a month for verizon. my dad has verizon internet and he lives 20 min outside the 275 loop and barely has service. in fact he doesn't have 3g service but only normal service. same as my cricket phone at his house. and what's he pay......
  18. send them to these guys. http://www.jet-hot.com/
  19. yeah niether does cricket. I have cricket and get service everywhere everyeone else does and I pay $58 with tax. just 3g though. fast enough for 99% of what I do anyway. oh and it's Unlimited EVERYTHING. you guys paying what you do for your service with contracts and limited data are morons.
  20. I can ride for a few hours but it has to be twisty back roads. super slabbing it is for a car. I get dead ass after 3-4 hrs in a car too. I have to stop and stretch.
  21. f that. it's a 5-6hr trip from cincinasty
  22. you're way too paranoid. if you greased them, there isn't any reason to worry. but I'm sure the bearing size is a standard size that you can find somewhere that sells trailer parts.
  23. you're going to need this, http://www.r1messagenet.com/howto/manuals/2004_R1_Service_Manual.pdf
