  1. I bought a truck from Glenway Chevrolet and they handed me the 100 something point check they supposedly do to them. called the GM certified check. the rear brakes was checked off. but when I pulled the drum off 2 weeks after I bought it the spring hardware was rusted in half and the pads were basically scraping the drum. there's no way in hell those were checked. I never went back for it because the parts cost me a whopping $30. but still, certified checked eh... that's alright because I made them put a new thermostat in it and give me a new key with a new keyfob.
  2. you'd go belly up in your first month of business if you fixed everything on all the used bikes you buy. they're used.
  3. wow this is as lame as a dane cook show. I guess some of you find farts funny too
  4. well if you didn't ask them about the air filter that's your fault. and I'm sure if you did they'd say they didn't know or are not willing to take it apart so you can see it. or you never know they might have. but would it have really mattered? they probably wouldn't lower the price at all anyway. it's an air filter. like brake pads it's a normal wear item. you have to expect to have to replace it. same thing with a thermostat. now if they're cool and it's overheating or something, they'd at least repair it since you just bought it. at least the guy I worked for would. even though everything he sold is "as is".
  5. having worked at a used car lot I love guys like you. you buy something used and bitch it's used. if you wanted a new bike the new bike dealer is up the road
  6. u know how you're supposed to discharge a capacitor? I'm being 100% serious, you touch the two connectors with a plastic handle screwdriver. no joking.
  7. I was investigating my issue for my tv and mine has 3 of those. it looks like they're pretty inexpensive too. just google your tv model flyback and see what you find. mine are like $30-45. mine is the convergence of the 3 lenses (rear projection screen) the part is cheap enough but I'd have to have someone with the proper alignment equipment align the picture again. which isn't worth the price from what I've been getting quotes for. $350-400 per hour. should only take 45 min. but I get billed for the whole first hour. screw it, new 50" lcd's are only $500-600 for a basic model.
  8. didn't read any further so if someone else already said it...bite me. those are called a flyback and they are replaceable
  9. you went around a few years ago on local riders totally bashing the hell out of his crew for being a bunch of squids. I think it's a little bit weird you now find some supportive role to play for him. he just wants attention. and from the very people he talks shit about on his forum:wtf:
  10. just get used to the fact...I'm not impressed by you brian. and I don't care about brandon either. him and his boys have always acted like idiots around town on the streets. I've never kissed his ass and never will.
  11. lets get one thing straight KTM-Brian. ANYONE can buy thier way into wera races and get a expert license. so no one here isn't lacking any kind of talent except money and time to do a few races with wera. 2nd. you're no one to talk about talents. you consistantly finish last or close to it in just about any race you did. so you can stop throwing that superior complex you have around on forums. brandon and his crew never ran any kind of impressive lap times. so it's just a hobby for them. if they were serious about the whole thing they would be in race schools etc more than thier track days. and neither do you. so you're just an average joe like the rest of us doing it for fun
  12. I have a 54 samsung 1080i that needs the convergence fixed on it if anyone wants it. It's supposedly $80 for parts. but $350 for someone to align it. no more samsungs for me. that make 3 samsung products that quit working way too soon for me
  13. new windshields are cheap just replace it. $200 installed is the norm
  14. he said in the usa. I'd have to choose something in the south east of the country. like north/south carolina or georgia. savannah is really nice. I just like the rich history from the civil war era and the way the houses are made etc in the east. california etc has too much of a southwestern/mexico feel to it for me.
  15. yeah they just want their noses up his ass this week. next week they'll be all like, no you can't advertise here because you're two faced like we said last week.
  16. is this the class where it's mostly 14-18 year olds?
  17. that's been around for a while. as long as you keep up on your updates you should be ok.
  18. pm me if you want to see it. (gotta keep it on the downlow so it doesn't get taken down)
  19. dude kawasaki has so many recalls that it makes me not want to even bother looking into buying one anymore. I think they have the most out of everyone.
  20. here's a few things about using race fuel if you don't tune your bike to use it. 1. waste of money 2. if it's leaded (which I believe cam 2 is..it's not a bad thing however...) your stock converter is slowly clogging every second it's running 3. octane is not a measurement of the fuel's energy level. it's just a measurement of it's resistance to pre ignition.
  21. yeah I don't like that one. the stock 03 font is hard to find. the one I got from the dealer isn't even white.
  22. do you think you can make a "YZF" sticker like the one in this picture? it needs to be close to the same font and about 1 1/4" X 5" long in white? I ordered these from the dealer from the micro fiche and it's not even remotely the same.
