Sorry to hear about this. But, thanks for posting. I have been meaning to freeze my credit and the wife's but have been putting it off. Just froze all of them. Feels like to best $30 worth of "insurance" I have spent in a long time. Hope you get it all worked out.

Thanks but I'm looking to do it cheap. I think I'll just end up painting them for now. May add treads later. Too much going on now and not enough work for me to put nice oak treads in the home makeover budget.

I just tore up 10 yr old carpet from the main staircase in our house. My wife has bad allergies to dust mites and I was wondering what type of surface others have on their stairs besides carpet. The wood underneath is nothing special so I was thinking of painting it but wanted other options. Thanks.

Had a great time at the game. Ticketmaster is a scam. It showed most tickets sold out (especially the 2 for 1 tickets) but at the game there were so many seats available. Also Ticketmasters seating chart of the stadium sucks. I thought I purchased seats up top (because that is all they had left) but we ended up sitting about 20 feet from the field. I'm not complaining about where we sat, just that the seating chart isn't very good. The weather was great and the kids had a good time. The Crew also won the Lamar Hunt trophy last night. If you are looking for something to do and have never been to a game go see the Crew. FYI: Flogging Molly will be playing after the game on May 26th. I may have to go back.

We have lived at our house for 10 yrs. The first 9 I tried doing the grass thing by myself and never got good results. Last year I hired Scotts and the lawn started to look better. This year I am still using Scotts and the lawn looks great. I'm glad I am using them. Overall it may be a bit more expensive, but at least it works compared to what I was doing. My lawn even looks better than neighbors who have been using TruGreen for a few years.

Mine did the same thing about 3 yrs ago and it was a low charge. They came by and filled it up and it has worked fine since. No ice on pipes anymore.

Thinking of taking my kids this coming Saturday. I've never been to a game. Do they sell walk up tix or do I have to buy them through ticketmaster? Is there a place to buy discounted tix? Since the stadium seems somewhat small are there any bad seats? Thanks for any comments.
