For my route down to Kentucky, I just set South shore, KY as my destination on my Tom Tom rider and picked no highways and a winding route. It worked out real well.

No! I just figure that if I drive for a couple of years, I can then afford to really retire.

Actually, I am thinking about driving truck for a couple of years, once it is to cold to ride.

I am in Prestonburg, Kentucky. Not the first time that I have stayed in Prestonburg. The last time Issac's Papa and I stayed here on our way to a gap rally. Did around 420 miles. There are some nice roads down here. I picked up 7 right after I crossed the border and rode it down to 460 and took that to 550. Very little traffic, even on the highways. Nice day of riding!

Not camping, hotel. Leaving tomorrow morning.

Planning a 2 day trip down to Kentucky to ride some of those nice roads that IP and Tony rode on their way back from the Gap. Leaving Wednesday morning. Working on a route now.

I won't be riding for the next week...taking the wife to Daytona for her beach fix. I will see how much pressure is in it when we get back.

That's what I am thinking.

You know what they say, if it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any luck. Go out to the bike this morning to check tire pressures before I go for an all day ride. My back tire has a tiny nail in it. Great the tire only has 300 miles on it. So, I pull the nail out, hoping that it didn't go clear through, no such luck. I plugged it. FUCK!!!

I thought that he just got a new truck, recently.

I am planning on taking a long ride tomorrow, 7/ 19, Wednesday. Maybe down to WV 250. Open to other routes. I know most of you have to work, thought I would ask.

I got a new rear tire, today.

It is nice.

I rode all of 555 today. It was pretty clean until south of 78. After that it was the usual gravel and torn up parts. Took 7 over to 144 and headed back north. Hit parts of 377 and 550. Gassed up in Malta and hit 669, one of favorites, took it to 668. Ended up doing around 330 miles total. I turned over 65,000 on the FJR, today. Oil change and some other maintenance tomorrow.

Oh..we had no hot water in our cabin... at all. Fontana sucks, staying the lodge does really suck.

I didn't get home till almost 9. Had a great time! Did some riding on some cool roads. It was a blast, really from beginning to end.

At Tonik's favorite place to eat in Franklin. Good food!

Bags are packed, just have to put them on the bike. Heading out around 7:30 am.

Short ride to a buddy's. It's fixed.
