  1. 14.30@94 Drove 3hrs home, then 2hrs to Akron with a busted converter and a smoked 2nd gear band. I'm glad that's all that matters. graemlins/gay.gif
  2. What's wrong with it? Nothing serious I hope.
  3. No, the problem is I race too often, and shit brakes. If I would have listened to the voice in my head, I wouldn't have made those 30+ passes and the car would be fine. But what fun would that be?
  4. I'm make sure to laugh when you run a slower ET at Norwalk than I did at Larue. smile.gif
  5. Don't hold your breath.
  6. Suck my cock, faggot. smile.gif
  7. It still runs, dick. smile.gif It's fixed now, just waiting on a converter.
  8. Asked if it could be welded, but no dice. I'll try to take some pics of it when I go up there to pick it up. I'll have to take some pics of Vince's 9 second street car too, which has the same "unreliable" tranny as my car. No cage, t-tops, A/C and power every thing going high 9's > * ... and you've seen it run, how many cars run that kind of ET/MPH and DON'T break? For how fast it is, how old the tranny/converter are and the number of HARD passes on it - I'd say it's pretty fucking reliable. But that's just me - I can't change oil.
  9. Do you even have a licence?
  10. Not really. Just an old and busted converter. Knew I shouldn't have gone to the track every possible day with the car before Norwalk. redface.gif
  11. It's not the tranny. Had nothing to do with the tranny or the build. Again, the tranny is YEARS old with TONS of passes on it. Shit breaks. Welcome to owning fast cars.
  12. Considering the tranny is three years old and has tons of passes on it, I wouldn't really call it unreliable. The only reason the converter died was due to it being a non lock with a lockup valve still in the tranny. Ballooned and cracked.
  13. Well, racing at least. Last time I had the car out the 2nd gear band started giving me shit, knew it wasn't a big deal so took it up to Janis and had it taken care of. The car had been leaking from the front of the tranny (figured it was just a front seal). Long story short, Janis put the rebuilt tranny in it, fired it up and it was spewing fluid all over. Converter is cracked. New converter on the way, but it's not going to be here in time. There is a SLIGHT chance it will be, but I'm not holding my breath. You'll have to wait until the next Norwalk event to get worn out by the best car ever.
  14. Marc, if you're still on the waiting list you can have my spot. I still plan on going, so you can pay me there or whatever. Let me know.
  15. It'll make it to Norwalk on a full tank of gas. ... your ears by the time you get there ... that's another story. Good to see you're going to make it Marc. smile.gif
  16. Someone I went to high school with owned that car. Passen had nothing to do with it. I can't remember who it was...
  17. Kerry = douchebag Bush = douchebag Welcome to YEARS ago.
  18. Now you've done it, there will be a three page reply to this post, which will make zero sense, even if you're high on crack. But I bet his car runs solid 9's, since it's so cheap to build a fast car.
  19. Ramble much? Buddy Ingersoll's car was a 262" twin turbo V6, this was in 86 when there was no size restriction. He didn't dominate, he trailed most of the season, but the car finally came around and was running solid 7.20's in a 7.60 class. He lost the final round of the final race of the season, and then his car was banned from the class. Now, nothing has changed and Pro Stock is just as lame as every other drag racing class with massive limitations. I don't know what that has to do with ANYTHING in this thread, just thought I would clear some of your rambled bullshit up.
  20. Sounds like a beast, I have not seen it.
  21. The black car that traps 120ish?
