  1. Thanks for the bumps. Sounds like I should be selling it for more.... lol.
  2. Got a bunch of them. They're great. Low maintenance, and still good pets.
  3. I'm selling this guitar because I've got too many and this one doesn't get played. Gotta thin the herd. It is a great guitar, and plays really well. The neck is nice and fast. I just fully cleaned, rewired, lubed (Including breaking down the Floyd and giving it an oil bath), and polished the entire guitar. The tremolo is level with the spring tension set just right. It includes the tremolo arm, but is missing the tremolo cavity cover. It is strung with Ernie Ball Power Slinkys (.11) and is tuned in Drop C with enough play in the fine tuners to get it back to D. If you are unfamiliar on how to work with floating bridges I can help you re-tune it. It has a few minor dings and scratches from its years of use. Dinky body shape Alder body Rosewood fretboard 25.5" scale 24 frets Floyd Rose double locking tremolo (Licensed JT580) S-S-H (J135-J135-J70) pickup configuration $300 OBO. Feel free to offer me whatever you think is fair. The worst I can say is no.
  4. I'm selling this because it is too big and replaced it with a proper fitting one. It is a Hein Gericke 1-piece, size 46. I was 5'11'' and 190lbs when I wore it. It was loose throughout, but I also like my leathers to fit snug. Plenty of room for a back and chest protector. All leather construction Safe stitch double stitched safety seams Perforated leather upper Detachable mesh lining zips out for washing Hiprotec® hip armor Astrotech knee, elbow and shoulder armor Replaceable knee pucks Powerstretch panel on lower back and knee It has all the armor in it, and a pocket for a back protector. The knee pucks are moderately used. It is clean, and I never used it because it was too big. There is a minor bit of rash on the left leg from the previous owner. it is purely cosmetic. $200 OBO. Feel free to offer me whatever you think is fair. The worst I can say is no.
  5. I'm selling this motorcycle racing suit because I outgrew it and replaced it with a proper fitting one. It is a Alpinestar Octane 1-piece, size 44. I was 5'11'' and 190lbs when I wore it. It was tight on me in the legs and arms. I still had room to use a back protector. It has all the armor in it, and a pocket for a back protector. The knee pucks are lightly used. It is still clean, and I always wore a under suit when I rode. It worked great, and I even had the opportunity to test it at Mid-Ohio this past season. It has rash on the chest, arms, and upper legs. All seams are intact except on the left arm where the suit was too tight and it tore out. The rip is minor, but the repair will cost $50-$100 depending on who you take it to. $200 OBO. Feel free to offer me whatever you think is fair. The worst I can say is no.
  6. Two of the snakes, I've got pictures of the rest floating around but I can't find them. Coho: Hermione:
  7. I use a Meprolight M21 reflex on my CQB rifle. Fiber/Tritium so no batteries. I also prefer not to use a magnifier. View feels very confined. BUIS - Troy, LWRC, ARMS are all good. Use gas block height sights on railed gas blocks. Magpul will get the job done, but it is definitely second tier. ACOGs are wonderful. Good magnification for distance but still usable for closer. Having an iron sight or reflex mounted on the ACOG is the best of both worlds. However they are also very expensive.
  8. Lots and lots of options for mods out there. Only put on what you'll really use. BUIS are a necessity IMO. Red Dots (EOTech, Aimpoint, Trijicon, Meprolight) are good for 100m-200m engagements. Magnifiers make Red Dots function out to 300m with very limited vision. Fixed magnifications (Trijicon ACOG, etc.) are good for 300m+. Variable magnifications I have minimal experience with. They are versatile, but require focusing to shoot. Fore grip is nice for stabilizing while standing. Lights, lasers, etc. Only if you have a need for it.
  9. Awesome rifle. Definitely get what you pay for with those.

I'd advise this being focused into PMs. Possibly sent to multiple people until you hit the right person. Whatever you choose, publicly bitching usually just makes it worse.
  11. .38 is essentially a 9mm. Target ammo (FMJ) achieves more penetration. Smaller trauma from wounds. The purpose of JHP expansion is to leave the force in the target so it does not exit and create more damage elsewhere. Five rounds to the face should kill someone. But don't forget bullets love to glance off round targets. Forehead ricochets, cheek hits, maybe a lucky round in his neck that didn't sever anything vital. IMO self defense shooting should always be COM. Better target acquisition, and better chance for expansion. Maybe a round in the head for good measure after you've done the job.. Another school of thought says aim for the pelvis. Risk of ricochet is there, but you shatter the pelvis, they aren't going anywhere.
  12. I hate the environment. The cheerleaders, the music, the people, etc. are not there because of a love of the game. They are there because its fun to do and the whole industry has shifted the focus from the love of playing the game to the commercial crap it is now. Hell, there's not even an organ at Nationwide. Not to mention our inattentive fans caused the nets to go up. I love true hockey towns for their atmosphere. Seeing a game at the Joe or Gardens was great. Real rivalries, fights like Domi and Probert, and Roy and Osgood/Vernon... The intensity to the flying octopi is great. Those venues will always be great places to watch a game. (I hope. Haven't been to the Joe since mid 2000's) The Chill had an atmosphere like that because it was cheap and only those of us that loved watching the game went. Watching the guys play their hearts out for the chance to move up was awesome too. Throwing beers at the refs was icing on the cake. Long story short, keep your scoring and new rules. I want my 90's hockey back.
  13. There is another nation in-between Israel and Afghan that will get their focus much more as well. This should not be a conventional war. This should be fought by precision airstrikes, MI (Focus on HUMINT), and black ops. Then you would never even know what to bitch about, we'd spend billions less, and the nationals would be most of the bullet sponges. We will leave, eventually. The UN will leave a peacekeeping force. That force will be picked apart by guerrilla tactics. Even if we are not there, civilization will not work there. They are too bull-headed about their religion being right and common sense not existing. So yes, the right answer is to pull out completely. Fuck building their infrastructure or training them, they are just going to go back to listening to whatever religious nut is in charge and fucking donkeys once we're gone. Once they act up again, none of this tactical nuke crap, turn the whole problem (Middle East) into a parking lot. Would set a nice "Don't fuck with us" precedent as well.
  14. The NHL coming to town fucked up a good thing. Watching the Chill (ECHL) play at the fairgrounds was waaaaay better.
  15. My condolences on the loss and best wishes for the survival and life of the child.
  16. Allow me to introduce you to a term: "Gear Queer". Troy, LWRC, AMRS, and MBUS are all good BUIS. Make sure you get a metal gas block height BUIS if mounting on a railed block.
  17. Obviously, you've never served. First off, I agree that we don't really need to be there conventionally. The whole operation should have been Black IMO. Conventional army vs. guerrilla forces is stupid. Afhgan has been killing invaders successfully for like 2000 years too. Yes, we would react the same way if we were invaded. However, we are still there. Our job involves many different missions, most of which require moving in unsecured enemy territory. Any time a patrol (Mounted or otherwise) is moving outside the wire, a Hajji with a weapon is a direct threat to them. Not to mention this is a country where culture requires them to be friendly to you while you're in the village, and then they can go to heaven for shooting you as soon as you step out of it. And our "allies" love to shoot us too. So pretty much everyone there wants to kill you. So yes, anything that shows the intent to harm our forces there should be eliminated by whatever means necessary, and preferably with as little risk to our troops. I won't be shedding a single tear for what is done to secure our forces so we can CM and eventually get home. Then the Afghans can get back to focusing on killing people that use their brains and women and children.
  18. That's not sad. Proper target ID. Can't run from air support. It gives me a hard-on.
  19. I've been with Huntington for 12 years. They have always treated me very good. I've maintained my account for the past years of military service and even without a local branch I can still get all my stuff done. I've had shitty experiences with both 5/3 and USAA.
  20. Well my cold is getting worse rather than better so seems I'm out too. Bah.
  21. I'm in. Please PM me an address and whatever I should bring along.
