  1. Well, the cool kids haven't let me know where it is.
  2. I got such a good start it scared the shit out of me.
  3. I always thought having candy painted on your bike was kinda ghey.
  4. Yeah, you were at the wrong place. Sorry, maybe next time. Great ride fellas. Too bad 104 was closed. That road is pretty fun. Glad everyone made it back safe. Zorro, I had you at the start!!! I felt like Matt Mladin coming off the line. Rocky, Zorro, "YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOURSELF!!! AGGGGHHHH"
  5. Which is going to be better: Iron Man or Batman or Hulk?
  6. The first thing we're going to do is head out of the city. If you want, I will post the ride after we do it. I don't want speed traps set up. I am sure some people in the group will exceed the speed limit by 1 or 2 miles per hour.
  7. Yeah c'mon Zorro. Dust off the R1 and come roll with us.
  8. Nice... The upclose pics of the bolts were a little much, however.
  9. I was going to pick up the kids from daycare and I saw you turning right onto Tuttle Crossing. You were right in front of the Chipotle/Eb Games/Sprint stores.
  10. Meet at the Shell that is attached to QSL in Polaris. It used to be a Marathon but is now a Shell. I will be there at 11:00 AM and we will leave at 11:30. Route to be handed out then. Ride Type: Fast with curves. Depending on how many people show, we may have more than one group. Cleaner
  11. I heard that someone on a motorcycle made contact with a semi-truck sometime this evening. Anyone have any details? Was it one of ours. BTW, I saw Pedro riding that way AFTER the accident occured so he is accounted for.
  12. Thinking about setting up a ride that would take us through your side of town. Let me know if you guys are available to ride Sunday (4/27/08)
  13. FYI, I've been to HNW a few times and have hated my experiences. I've been in there looking to talk with someone about purchasing a bike and no one has approached me for 30 minutes on end. Not even to say "Hi, I'll be with you in a minute." I understand that some people don't want to be harassed all day when they just want to check out new models. But, at least a sales person could acknowledge my presence. Also, when I have gone in there, the store has been empty but a few workers. I am not sure things have changed since I have not been in there for a while. BUT, I like how you have stepped up and didn't try and point fingers or label your customers as being asses or wrong or blame them for not doing something different. You essentially said "my bad, let me help make things right for you." Props for that. I'll give you guys another look when looking for parts/service/or bike.
  14. I think I was in Row J for the one in March and then I was in Row DD for the one a year ago. I don't remember what section. I remember thinking to myself for the Randy v. Tim fight "what if I don't go and Randy fucking wins that fight. How much will I hate myself?" Then for the Silva versus Hendo fight, "the two top 185 pounders in the world are fighting each other. If Silva wins he will be considered the best pound for pound fighter on the entire plant. How can I pass that up?" I may go next March, but it will depend on who is fighting.
  15. I've seen the 2 that have come to Columbus. Awesome shows.. I paid a shitload for tickets but I got to see Randy beat Timmy and on the other card I got to see the best martial artist in the world in Anderson Silva. The tickets were expensive but totally woth it. Save your money, make the time because it is a great event.
  16. Once the weather gets more consistent, I will come down with a group of guys.
  17. I really need to start putting money on these fights!!!
  18. don't forget to listen to Beatdown After the Bell at : www.sherdog.com It airs 30 minutes after the end of the fight.
  19. Did you guys see the Countdown special on Spike the other night. Lutter said he'd "never ever lose to Silva again. If they fought 100 times, he'd never lose to Silva again." He went on to say that he may lose to someone, but he'd never lose to Silva. I think that's probably accurate.... Since he'll never get another fight with Silva. GSP is one of my favorite fighters and I'm a bit nervous for this one. The first one can always be written off as "just getting caught." But for lightning to strike twice you can't just write that off. I think it'll go the way the Koscheck fight went until Mazagatti steps in as GSP is pounding an exhausted Matt Serra. Franklin is going to beat the piss out of Lutter. Lutter is going to go for take down after take down until mid second round when he's too tired to go for a legitimate take down. Then Rich is going to put it on him.
  20. I can't definately say which side (or if both) that I've seen it from. I searched for a picture for a while until I gave up. The more I think about it, the more I'm thinking it was the left side (gear side) only.
  21. I'm thinking about getting into this. Any suggestion as to what cc bike I should get? I want to get the bike that is going to allow me to get into the most races. No need in me getting a 50cc bike if every race I am going to go up against 125cc. Also, no need in me getting a 125cc bike if I won't be able to race it half the time due to most races being 50cc only.
  22. Thanks for the insight Lizard.
  23. So I was watching Moto GP and I've always wondered why Dani Pedrosa takes his foot completely off the peg before making a turn. I think its usually his inside leg that he does it with. Anyone know why he does this? I am just guessing that its to give his little ass a bit more leverage in getting the bike to lean into the corner but I'm not sure. Just curious.
