I know offers to share the book weren't done with malice..it was just a knee jerk offer to help a fellow OR member out. We just have to keep in mind that this is a source of income for the author..and 'sharing' benefits us...not him. It's just one of those things that you really don't think about unless it directly affects you...like herpes.

I might have problems parking that in the garage. Dunno. Civics are WAY too small. They're great cars, but I need more space than what I currently have. The Accord sedans are on my short list. They give me approx 2 inches more leg room in the back, but I lose about the same in shoulder room. I would like to clarify that the child in that incident was a free agent, and was not employed by me.

We still need to see how this thing corners.

I've seen a few deals in the past few weeks...I just wasn't sure if I was gonna sell the bimmer first at the time. Whatever I get, I've got about 2 weeks or less to pull the trigger. The ice is gonna start up here pretty soon and I don't want any part of that in the current ride.

Not sure I want to revisit that shiity gas mileage. An SUV would work for me..but only if it had 3rd row seating. And I'm not trying to see a suburban either. I had an escalade once...I cried every time I had to fill up.

What do ya got? I realize I'm looking for something with high miles...I don't care as long as it was maintained properly. I just need something to drive in the winter, than won't leave me stranded because you neglected to tell me about an issue you were having. Yeah, $2500 isn't a lot to spend, I know...but this is strictly a winter car to get me and the kids around. I'd be willing to spend another $500 if needed, but it's currently tied up in hookers and blow, so it will be a while.

I wouldn't pay full retail for a Mac unless I had $$ to burn. You can usually find good deals on refurbs. Whoever said to spend good money on the power supply...listen to him. eMachines=Acer ?? I believe?? I bought a laptop from Wally World for my niece, and it was the exact same as the Acer model minus the webcam. Last I checked, Acer had pretty good reviews as far as laptops went.

Power supply or internal heat issue, which could be cause by a bad fan in there somewhere. Power supply problems are a bitch to track down. They mimick just about everything else that could go wrong with every other part in there. Do you really need the PC this weekend? You should cruise fatwallet.com, slickdeals,net or cheapstingybargains.com for deals before you go all brick and mortar.
