The feeling of being able to swim..and SEE at the same time... being able to wake up and immediately be able to see without reaching for glasses or contacts (think self defense here).... Did it 10+ years ago. Best money I ever spent. Keep liquid tears on hand for the dry eyes...won't last forever though. Lifetime warranty...well..the place I went to changed names/ownership (yeah right)...so if I ever have to go back I get a 'discounted' rate. Keep that in mind. Would I still go back and do it? Hell yes. Best investment I ever made..and I was severely nearsighted. Contacts messed my eyes up a few times (especially while I was in the Army). Never looked back.
