Awwwww, John! This was going to be my helmet 2 years ago BUT shoei's fit my head funny! That's why I went with arai. VERY cute helmet tho!!!

NOTHING wrong with being feminine. I wear a pink jacket and had a pink helmet with a pink visor until I got my diamond white arai corsair v this season...although I am loving the new alpinestars white stella jacket. Just make sure you buy SAFE gear vs. the cute stuff. Arai doesn't make pink helmets and I'm sure they never will. I love pink BUT think VERY hard b/f you put any pink on your bike. It's going to make it VERY hard to resell and you're surely going to outgrow that 250. Oh....and WELCOME!

The weekend costs $375. You'd have to go to midohio's website and sign up for it yourself. It's not the company I want so much seeing that I will have alot of class time but helping eachother out off and on the track, loading bikes, etc. I'm not the strongest girl in the bunch and I don't want to drop my bike more than I already have. I'm used to doing most things by myself but I'm using my judgement here and asking for help.

Most are going to putnam I believe. It's quite a bit cheaper. Several knowlegeable people suggested mid ohio for my first time out. I'm only doing this to actually learn how to corner in confined environment. Ya it was a female that was initially going but it doesn't have to stay that way. AND I don't have to know you. I'm a pretty talkative person......

Mike everyone needs help once in a while...even the strong independent ones such as myself. This has been a bit upsetting for me. Please understand and not be so harsh.

Well I work TONS of hours so I'd rather pay a tad bit more and not have to be stuck driving in my car for that long. And just an FYI, that's for 2 days. I don't think its that much of a difference in price. I know we don't get the femmoto discount at Mid Ohio but I want to make sure I actually don't have a heart attack being on the track b/f I sign up for more. Anyway I just spoke of someone on the board and got a great reality check....I'm gonna go regardless. I'm not gonna waste the money but it would still be great to have someone to go through the class with and help eachother get our bikes off the trailer.

Hi everyone! Well unfortunately I trusted the wrong person and I do not have another person to do my track days with this coming weekend at midohio. I am very nervous...somewhat scared about doing this on my own thus I would really appreciate someone going with me. )) I am doing two novice days on Saturday 25th and Sunday the 26th. The times are from 12pm to 8pm. I have already paid and it's nonrefundable. If I were to switch it to another day/weekend I would have to pay extra as well. The whole weekend cost $375. Now I'm not sure if I'm staying in Lexington over night but I am willing to suck it up and pay for the gas if others want to go along. I will be driving my SUV and trailering my bike with a WONDERFUL friends trailor. There is room for 2 more bikes on the trailer. I have other stuff I can bring, including a very nice generator if needed but I am really hoping someone is willing to go. I never thought in a million years someone would do this to me especially seeing how expensive something like this is but it is what it is. Any takers? Ya I had one pair of shox and gave them to my mom for every day wear. They give absolutely NO support for ankles. I went to front runner in upper arlington and found the staff to be extremely educated. The majority are marathon veterans.

Not necessarily true. I've been to several people for my legs/shin splints...I get them ALL the time. If you read in the medical literature they are multi-factorial. Mine are mainly from me getting bronchitis and it took me out for 6 weeks from training. I went from running 10 to 12 miles a week to 25 miles a week...went up WAY too quickly. ALSO, I pronate when I walk/run and although I had 2 good pair of running shoes I needed more support for my ankles. I'm at the gym 4 to 6 days a week depending on how much cross training I do in b/t runs.....I wouldn't call that being out of shape. The sports med docs/orthopods I've spoken to at work have several athletes that are simply more prone to getting the shin splints. Rest (3 to 6 weeks) and ice are really the only cure to prevent subsequent fractures. And ask any marathon runner.....your/their first training session prior to either a half/full marathon tore up their bodies. I'll be fine for my next half in October. I'm just gonna have to grin and bear it for this race. Plus, I'm running with three other attendings in my practice and 2 of them are somewhat out of shape so I'm sure I'll be running 10 minute miles the whole way.

Sorry but GSXR Nurse and I are doing track days at Mid Ohio that weekend. If anyone wants to meet us up there it's a bit steeper. $375 for both days. We're staying in a hotel. I do have to admit that people on here have been quite helpful with all the track stuff!

OH looks like u all had a great time. Sorry I missed it. I've had HORRIBLE shin splints the last 2 weeks while I train for my marathon next month and had a really LONG massage around the time of the dyno. Are we gonna be scheduling another one in the near future?

Even with NO freakin make up on these women are absolutely beautiful and much more beautiful than many a men on here will ever have the pleasure of being in a relationship with....or one night with.
