Bret I was gonna do a concrete patio in my back yard and chewed on that idea for about 5 years. Then I didn't want the regular color of concrete. Sooo I thought about stamped concrete. Yikes the cost was about $4500 for a 10 by 12 patio. Then I thought about pavers...same cost. My brother and cousin just installed a wood deck on the back of my house. It's really low to the ground...hence the reasoning for wanting a concrete patio vs. deck. Now that I have the finished product I do have to admit that I'm glad I went with the wood vs. concrete (although concrete will last MUCh longer). IF you decide to go with wood 88 lumber in pataskala had the lowest price by far. I got 4 quotes (carters, lowes, home depot, 88). Materials for my 16 by 20 was only $1200....it will be less for you if you want a 10x20. And of course I had family do my deck so the labor was pretty inexpensive too. After watching it installed I do have to admit it doesn't look that hard MINUS that freakin hydraulic auger! Pataskala has TONS of clay in the ground and it took us almost 8 hours just to dig 9 holes! Yikes. Either way good luck.
