  1. July 25/26. Putnum STT $305 Sept 19/20 MidOhio 2-8pm 2day$375 I'm willing to do both of these weekends if someone wants to go with. I don't want to pay until I have a willing soul to go along. I can't do anything over the 4th weekend/week following b/c I'll be in mexico/playa del carmen for a diving trip. Then I believe there's AMA and MOTO GP in August...right???
  2. Ya we got the COO code. I'm not sure where the "hash" was. I wasn't aware that mattered. Justin (justin0469).....do you remember???
  3. THANK YOU SIR! U da Man!!!!

  4. Thanks for the help last night! Hope you got some sleep. You and Justin left quite late. I even missed church this morning cuz I couldn't get my tired butt out of bed. :)

  5. Thank you EVERYONE for posting your thoughts and opinions everyone. I'm in awe! Sorry but after my last post I had to drive to Lima for a retirement party and didn't get back until late. Then I had John (madcat) and Justin come over to look at the bike. Like Madcat stated last night we couldn't find anything and when Justin was on the bike at low speeds we couldn't duplicate the issue. Today I took my bike out with Justin down 33 and then 188 to see if my FI like would come back on......and it did about an hour and a half into the ride. It's never taken this long to come on b/f. I didn't have any of the same stalling issue at low speeds either. When we got back to my house and tried to redo the codes again it once again showed C00. Grrrrr. Sooo after all this I guess I'm just gonna have to carry around an allen wrench and a wire to try to pull the code at random times when it comes on now that I know how to do it. Thank you Justin and John for being so kind to me last night!!!! You guys rock!
  6. Paul I was going to purchase an R6 initially BUT I was too short. Suzukis are the ONLY bike that I feel comfortable on! Thanks guys. We'll see what happens. I get very leary with asking people for help now. I've been accused of "exploiting" this website for help when I need it by certain CBus riders. I mean I thought that's what this was for but o'well.
  7. I would Dave but I'm about to go get my Dad his present and drive to Lima for my Uncle's retirement party. Heya i saw some SWEET vrod's last night. They sent tingles through my entire body! I'm gonna go to a Harley dealership this week and start pricing. Prob NOT this year but maybe next. We'll see. Man you should have seen the custom paint jobs on these things!
  8. I try not to overwork my buddies too much anymore. Hence the reason for electrical tape around my turning signal that got cut in half at the track. And I don't think any of my close riding buddies would know where to start with this one.
  9. I've asked that question 2 times in this thread. I need a referral for a reputable shop that's NOT going to keep my bike for weeks on end!
  10. I'm a nurse practitioner with a palliative medicine team. Yay!!!
  11. No I've never had to replace the battery although I've let it die quite a few times b/c I always seem to leave the lights on. The IP is bright all the time.
  12. It was only as slow speeds in 1st gear only. It does hesitate when I hit the throttle. I'm so sad!!!! I was gonna ride her to Lima today for my Uncle's retirement party and now I have to drive b/c I don't feel safe with her.
  13. So it sounds like I just need to take her into the shop. Who do everyone use in the Cbus area? I really don't want to be without her very long! Grrrr.
  14. Ok so I'm kinda a dumb girl when it comes to the tech stuff on my bike. Unfortunately I seemed to always have been married to or dated someone who knew what was wrong with whatever bike I had. Now being very single I don't know. I just had a friend change the oil and do some other spec stuff to it b/f my last track day. Soo after all that I don't know what my idle is set at. It's completely stock.
  15. I know right??? I LOVED those Vrods. I've been thinking about them all night long. I think I'm gonna make a run to a harley dealship just look start asking about pricing.
  16. Yes the F1 light has been coming on since I purchased her from Ask. The techs said this was an issue with all GSXR's and it's nothing to worry about. It's a 2006 with almost 6K on her. Oh I guess I could have also told you the white light below the odo kept coming on and off last night when I pulled into the subdivision. Is she safe to ride b/c we were hitting triple digits on the highway right after this happened. Stupid I know BUT I've barely had her out this year.
  17. Congratulations!!!! May the Lord bless you and KEEP you in all you do the next 50+++++ years to come!
  18. Well last night I was out with a few friends and we were waiting in some traffic to get on the highway. In first gear my bike was sputtering a bit then all of a sudden it started stalling. It did it 3 times and I was able to get it restarted quickly but the 4th time it wouldn't restart and I was holding up traffic quite a bit. I thought it might have "overheated" seeing we were in traffic but I have been westbound on broad street several times stuck in MUCH worse traffic. Then as I was pulling into my subdivision last night she started sputtering again. I kept it reved up so she wouldn't stall and got her into the garage safely. Soooo after all that I'm sure I need to get it into the shop for some diagnostics??? Does anyone have any idea what may be the issue at hand from what I just wrote? I've never had any issues with my bike. And if I do need to get her into the shop....who do you guys trust with your babies in the CBus area??? Meaning who will do good work and not keep my bike for weeks on end.
  19. Hey you sexy man beast!!!!!

  20. I've been riding for 6 years BUT I'm a very very very slow learner. I started out on a buell blast which was very forgiving but very boring. I "outgrew" it in a matter of months (it didn't help that my exhusband that had an R1 that used to let me ride it...that ruined it right there). Anyhoo, I have always had issues with turning at slow speeds. I'm fine with the clutch/brake action in first gear but I found that I was having issues dumping the GSXR I got 3 years ago b/c I wasn't LOOKING into my turns. When I keep my eyes up I don't get as scared and my bike goes where my eyes go. I found that when I was at mid ohio the instructors had to continually remind me to look into the turn. It's a BAD habit if you get into it. I renewed my temps for 2 years b/f I took the course so I had TONS of bad habits that are still getting broken. Anyhoo, I hope some of that helps.
  21. I know!!! I work at Riverside Hospital. I now have to go down to east broadway to 71 south just to attempt to get home. It adds and extra 15 minutes of drive time to my already 35-40 ride home in rush hour! GRRR.
