FINALLY ive been able to get something else done with this thing. Its really been pissin me off that i havent had time to do anything on this. I ordered Stainless brake lines from Speigler. Black lines, Black Banjos, and Black Ends. They will look tight on the bike!! Got the calipers torn down. I have new caliper piston seals. Popped the pistons out this morning at work. Luckily the pistons are in excellent shape b/c those are expensive. like 50 bucks a piece. Watch your fingers if you ever do this, lol. Now i need to send out the rearsets and calipers and get them powdercoated to match the rest of the bike! here is where the bike is currently at...

lol. I just sold an 88 CR250. Almost put 17" rims and street tires on it. What i really wanna do is sell my 85 and my 89 ninja and buy a new 09 DRZ400 and ride that. trackdays and street. CR250s are usually too big for go kart tracks. And that type of 2 stroke wouldnt be good at mid ohio. too many straights. be better at Grattan in Michigan! thats what i want the 400 for! thanks!!

havent updated this in a while. Since i printed the chain tensioners I have done a fair amount. Finally got the motor put back together with a new bottom and top end. Got the cases welded. I now have a brand new03 CR85 cylinder and top end. It was cheaper than replating the 80 cylinder. I also bought a set of used CR85 shrouds, tank, and rear fender to update the look of this thing. Then i printed some brackets for the new tank and test fit those and next week ill have laser cut stainless brackets to mount the new tank. Here are some pics... 85 cylinder on. i forgot to order the studs on the top of the cylinder, so i put the motor in the frame and waited for new studs to come in. all together, just need the brackets for the tank. the brackets i designed. I want the dog bone look. Only thing im changing frmo these to the stainless brackets are the holes. They will be slots when i have the stainless made. So i can make adjustments if need be. here are the printed mounts in action. When i get them laser cut, i will leave them raw stainless. The plan is... Black rear fender and white shrouds. leave the white number plates and black front SM fender. Get the seat modified (taller) and wrapped with a new cover, black on tope, but white on the sides. So it will be like there is a black atripe down the middle of the bike from front fender, tank, seat, and rear fender. then white on the sides with the red powdercoated body. should look good.

Selling my Icon Airframe. I dont need 2 helmets. Ive only worn this about 10-15 times. Still smells new. Its white with the light camo padding. Only one mark on the left cover that covers the hinges of the helmet. Not on the helmet itself. Its about 1/4 the size of a dime. Looking for 100 shipped or 80 picked up.

correct. thx, i forgot to add that! New Tires were put on the bike at Schiets, so they have basically 0 miles on them. we dropped the price a few hundred from where we had it before b/c we removed the backrest. DEFINITELY looks better without it!

thanks! yah the bike is in really nice shape and sounds awesome! the price is DEF at a steal! we have had it at this price for about a month now, i just forgot to put it on here! i cant believe it hasnt gone yet. im debating on buying it, lol. Darl, the owner, has always drag raced Vmax's and always ridden Vmaxs, so we take good care of Vmaxs around here! They are like a specialty!

yah my buddy got 400 more bucks out of his Ford Contour b/c i did a single stage polish and wax, and cleaned up the inside. 100 bucks spent, but he got 500 more than what he was asking before i cleaned it. so a total of 400 profit! a single stage polish should only take 3-4 hours tops. and i did a light headlight restoration on it. had it for sale for 3 months out by his road (very busy road). lots of people stopped and looked, but it looked too much like a beater car. it sold 8 days after i cleaned it up.
