FOR SALE: 2006 - 2007 Yamaha R6 fiberglass track plastics and fuel tank. The track plastics have marks on them, but thats why you use track plastics. Comes with a perfectly working and clean fuel tank. No fuel pump or gas cap. Looking for $450 and not looking to part out. I dont see why these wouldnt work on any newer R6 with very little modification, basically should only need new mount holes drilled. Comes with 2 front end pieces and the front fender and the 1pc rear. Fuel tank comes with the blue front plastic piece.

Carbs are getting sonic cleaned and the valves are going to be checked. One fo the exhaust bolts broke off in the cylinder head so i have that to deal with! Ive got extractors but you know how fun it is!

haha i know. after i FINALLY got it out of the basement, our driveway has a slope and i was debating it. Tires are about 1/4 flat. They are brand new and a few years old, so they will prolly be dry rotten before i get it done, lol. I need to get it into the shop i work at and have one of the tech's torque doen the steering stem, i had it torqued down and it came loose, so i want him to look at it. Obviously i wont be doing it throught the shop and paying that price, hell no. LOL. But the steering stem was holding me back from taking that rolling ride.

Hahahaha I hear ya!! Thank! No it won't be done this year. Should be running but then I need to sand the plastics and get them painted. Then I need to work on incorporating the new concours saddlebags and rear rack onto my ninja.

it will be what i teach my gf to ride on. If she wants to keep it after my ninja is done, she can. otherwise, its getting torn down!

UPDATE AS OF 8/4/11 new cooling fan! replaces the 4 fin plastic OEM... few random pics of some assembly... got a new camera with a nice lens, i can get real close to something and still get a LOT in the pic!! all the shit in the bags in the background is her parents... UPDATE AS OF 6/6/12 we bought a house with a nice big garage so we will be moving shortly (just down the street) and i finalLy got her out of the basement to see the light!!

On motorcycles YES!!!!! I miss my 50th Ann R6... The Mustang in my avatar is my GF's. I was waiting to get more done on the ninja before i made it my avatar. maybe ill use the first GS pic i posted, lol. Even in its current state those stupid azz original handlebars are going. One of the first things to be replaced. Ill get a set of dirt bars at the shop, see how they looked normal and flipped upside down.

Yes, i am still working on my 6 year project of the 89 Ninja 1000. I have finally bought a house so i have been packing everything up for a while. I will have a garage to actually work on this thing instead of in a basement. But... At the bike shop i work at, we took this bike in as a "mechanics special" b/c of what the owner told us, but it turns out all it needs is a carb clean and a new battery. I will have the new battery by wednesday to turn it over and make sure everythign is ok (minus the carb clean). Then i will take the carbs off and have them sonic cleaned at the shop. Its an 81 Suzuki gs450l. This thing is bad ass!! hahaha. Im either going to flip it, or keep it as a commuter. Not sure yet! She is very clean though!!

I know i miss the big booth with the hot chicks in tight red outfits! i didnt notice that it was a dealers booth. I basically just looked at the 1199 as i walked by.

haha. This years show was better than last years if you went then. Vendors were better too. Displays were better, and it helps that the bikes are getting better too!!

yah i dont think the 14/17 is street tires. i think thats stock dirt tires. the 17/19 is the expert dirt tires that were on yours when i bought it.

it did 74mph on the 80 cylinder. i did that waaaay before it blew. lol
