  8. who cares about that dork. who is the hottie reporter?!
  9. i had a set of SBS pads, equal to the EBC HH. these pads were excellent. no bed in procedure and excellent performance. i have had a couple of sets of EBC HH's and after one track day they felt like two pieces of wood, no bite or feel. the SBS's are tough to find locally, but well worth the effort to locate (internet). the price is nice, too.
  10. the way i see it is, who cares. otherwise, i say, real bikers wave and real bikers wave back. in other words, it doesnt matter what they are riding, or if they are even riding at the time, if they wave at me, they get a wave back. if i wave at another rider, he'll/she'll wave back if he/she is a biker, regardless of what he/she is riding. to me a biker is any individual passionate about riding (motorcycle, scooter, bicycle, etc). even if he/she does not even own a bike at the time. riders are the ones who just ride two wheeled mechanized transportation. unfortunately, there is no way to tell who's who until you wave.........so, wave on and have fun!
  11. you can find it at most auto parts stores. its not hard to find. i'm just glad there is an anitfreeze/coolant approved for the track. that way i dont have to worry about it all year....
  12. yeah, i've read that, thanks. my point is that there is no such product (poly glycol) that i could find. its propylene glycol, that is a typo that should be fixed. the brands listed are just specialty products and may only contain more lubricating properties or pretty colors. its the same as the low tox, the main ingredient being propylene glycol. although, i'm not sure if its easier to clean up or just safer for the environment. as far as using water wetter, i doesnt make any difference if your engine runs a couple of degrees cooler. there is no benefit there to a stock engine which is designed to run at a specified temp range and, thus, contains the proper thermostat for that range. besides, none of my bikes have ever run any hotter than the minimum setting on the thermostat at the track. some people even run without fans..... just trying to save those interested a few dollars, the hassle of changing fluid every fall and trying to locate/having to order the special racing stuff. its just a waste of money......but, dowhatchalike folks.
  13. well, you cant use Ethylene Glycol based antifreeze. you can use Propylene Glycol based antifreeze. which is the low tox variety you can find at any parts store (with pic of a puppy and kitten on the front). you dont have to buy anything specially made for racing, its exactly the same.
  14. also, the stock airbox and intake ducts channel air to the carbs. you might get into a situation where you are starving the engine for air if you remove all that stuff.
  15. it was, actually, always said that there is a $5 gate fee, but they really never carged it. just say your there to help your buddies with tires or something, if they try to carge you.
  16. i'll be there tomorrow. red primer 600rr....
