  1. They do make hard luggage, expensive though. I went with twisted throttle semi hard bags on mine. I've also got a touring windscreen and upgraded all the suspension with traxxion dynamics. Added a akropovic exhaust and had the ecu reflashed.

The windscreen is 3 position manual adjustable so it doesn't have to stand up so high in nice weather.

    This is my bike...

  2. Dad bought it last fall thinking he wanted a quasi track bike and something to hooligan around on. He never rode it and decided he's not going to. Only thing he's done is changed the oil and put on a newer set of Pirelli Angel GT tires. They've got about 2000 miles on them. Bike has under 6000 miles. In excellent condition. Any questions message me. Figure about $8000 asking price.

  3. Did you at least have on sunblock? If you're hot you're not going fast enough. What's the hottest people have ridden? I've done 111 in the sun, that does feel a bit like a sauna in gear

I saw 119 in phx one time. Got stuck in traffic on the interstate too. I'm sure with the other cars and the blacktop it was much warmer than the 119. Full gear was uncomfortable, but prefer it to road rash.

  4. Well if you are still down in Tenn like your signature states, than I can assure you that the cheese grater like road surface down there and the very very twisty roads may have something to do with your tires wearing out so quickly. ;)

Hah, quite true. I don't spend much time going straight. Roads are pretty awesome down here.
  5. I tend to agree with most of earache. The section from wolf creek dam to around Jamestown, tn is good.

I would take it to there and then decide if you wanna go slow and boring to i24 or cut across to 65 somewhere south of Nashville.

  6. I'm looking for a new toolbox. Snap on, Mac, Matco, Cornwell. Something professional grade. I want something in the 54+ wide, 25" deep, 40" tall range. I would like at least one full length drawer. Anyone have anything they're dying to get rid of and wanna make me a deal on?
