  1. Nick, hate to tell ya, but I don't think the cops cared too much. The one that got between our group as you guys all nailed it off that stop sign...then you all turned and we turned behind and he just kept on going... I kinda think he knew what was happening and just choose not to intervine. And btw I don't think you gotta worry about too many people unless someone is plugging that route into gps and trying to follow it. There's too many turns and whatnot...It was a good ride though! Nate, the second link about 11 post down is still up, just lettin ya know if you're takin them down...
  2. Well I thought the whole idea of a public forum is to be able to post experiences with vendors, shops, individuals and others can read and form opinions based on that. Every shop is going to have ups and downs. Every mechanic is going to have a bad day. I shared my opinions and thoughts about that aforementioned shop. I suppose I'll stop sharing my opinions then. Sorry to offend you.
  3. Fast food joint that sells burgers, fries, and milkshakes. Yes, that's it. It's a west coast thing. When I lived in AZ I lived next door to one, that was bad news!! LOL, but oh soo good.
  4. Holy balls In N Out is God's gift to America! That place has the best burgers.
  5. My apologies. I had been told by someone whom I thought to be reputable that they were the same company. My statements still hold true about their service though. Loose pinch bolts, loose handlebar clamps, oil over full, axle bolt on 4 wheeler not tightened (yet there was a cotter pin in it), 4 wheeler psi's at 16psi...I could go on. I am a mechanic, I have worked at a shop, I know that it takes common sense to check those items. I do all my own work and will gladly do anything for anyone, if they need the help and don't want to pay dealership prices. I will not take anything to, nor buy anything from Comp.
  6. Another one bitten by Competition. They stay in business because of their internet sales. Their service is a crock. After I quit Honda Northwest I looked into a job wrenching at Comp. since it's so much closer to home. After some of the stuff I saw and heard about I won't even walk in the doors there now. A good service manager might be able to do something, but they'd have to get rid of all the techs and all the parts guys and start with competent staff. No one in there knows anything it seems like. Sales is how they stay in business bottom line.
  7. What's the hard part...those two I mentioned are just the most critical. They aren't hard. Nothing is hard if you know how to do it.
  8. Valves are pretty easy. The biggest thing you have to worry about is doing the math for the correct shim and then getting the timing chain back on correctly.
  9. I'll second June 29. July 6 I'll be in Southern KY for the weekend. Routing, I have no pref. long as it's fun! Oh and you gotta ride the whole time to Nate...
  10. Any weekend in July...I work during the week. Pick a weekend and let's roll!
  11. EPC is 35 per tire off the bike.
  12. Easy there. I should have put almost all girls...There are a few that are really cool!
  13. That sucks, it isn't a fun feeling...especially when you realize what it is...
  14. Kind of like the bike won't lean at all and the front tire feels like it's going flat?? That's been my issue, I'm playing with suspension to solve it... Anyways does that sound anything like what you have happening?
  15. I get antsy that's why I don't do very well. Lodge bar bike night is cool to go to because everyone from this forum is there, but I can only stay so long. After a bit I'm ready for something new. To go to bike nights, etc can be a lot of fun. You can ask some of the people on here that know me or have met me, but I'm pretty quiet so I just kinda sit around and take it all in and after a short time gotta find something new to do. So it's easier for me just to ride. If someone organized something here, I'd go, but wouldn't be there very long.
  16. It's all about the ride! Girls like to look pretty. Guys like to ride!
  17. nice! So you still have a chance at Indy! And you come out one shirt ahead!
  18. That would be pretty sweet...the problem is NinjaNick is a
  19. So if it's real, I will be the first one to invite myself...If you have a second ticket and no one to use it of course....
  20. Lodge bar was a blast!! I'll be back, it's a fun group...The pics aren't that important if you show up in person you can see whatever you want to anyways! BTW I never said congrats...So congrats on Gradiatin
