Does it look like the car tapped him? Judging by the movement of the bars it almost seems like the tail of the bike just barely moves around a bit.

Will I get my same hourly rate as before? And if I recall that is about 3 hours of flat rate. So I think I can get it done a bit quicker than that, I've done that type of work before. Let me know! On the otherhand, I suppose the same ole donuts works too

My first thought upon reading this is who's more at fault..the guy screwing the picnic table or the guy video taping it?

I'm not gonna make it, my bike is still a parts bin...hopefully by the end on April I'll be back on the streets.

They've got coffee and donuts every Sat. that's nothing special! How about egg's and bacon! Zerocrash...

I thought the same thing, it certainly isn't making them faster. Neat to watch though I suppose. Overall it looks like a lot of fun.

Are you on kawiforums too? I see a lot of the same stuff from you.

Well everyone may think this is crazy, but it rained I think 3 days out of 16 months I was there. I actually really missed the rain. Other than that it was always sunny, which equates to overly hot. I much prefer 70 all year than 120. Finally with the weather, there's no seasons. The landscape is always brown (desert) and the cactus are always green. To me, it became a bit depressing. Second, as I mentioned, the theft. I didn't like having to lock up tight as a drum and worry about my stuff when I'm not occupying it. I lived in a good area near as I could tell. I would certainly go back and visit, maybe stay for a month or so during our winter months, but I don't want to live there again. I lived in Deer Valley. The 17 North and the 101 intersection basically. Finally, I think it was a great experience, I'd much rather live in Ohio. Ultimately I want to live in Eastern TN or far Western NC. My .02.

I lived about 15 min.(depending upon time of day) West of Scottsdale for a year or so. I loved the late fall, winter, and early spring. The 95-120 temps the rest really suck. I had my truck stolen... Everything after that I owned was alarmed, and twice it saved my motorcycle. The roads north of Phoenix area are sweet for riding. There's a ton of stinkin illegals, and they aren't afraid to say so. Scottsdale is very high class, it was always fun to visit and see the high class pretty girls. Give a shot, you might like it. It wasn't my cup of tea.

Good to know, if it is above 50 and not raining I'll be there. Probably with a friend.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamometer There's everything you ever needed to know. Basically though it is a piece of mechanical equipment used to measure horsepower and torque. It can be used for tuning purposes as well. That is a very general definition. It is going to be as complex as whoever posts wants to make it.

Maybe it was just me they didn't want to insure. I don't know. I just remember it being a hassle and got those reasons, so I went with All state.
-
State farm is a good option...however and I think you qualify, but you have to be 29 or somethin to be insured. Because I have less than 10 years riding experience or not old enough I couldn't get it. So I went with Allstate who also has good rates

I'm not sure that trap is avoidable. I got to the end as well. Died like a man though, I ran into the spikes

This was taken in the impound after I got the call saying that my bike was found. It was stolen 3 months prior. 2001 ZX-6R Mods: No decals anymore, exhaust/jetting, standard maintenance items Currently: Painting it yellow -
Yes, that is the girl I speak of. Me likey. lol. Were you at the show?

Forgot the camera, didn't take any. They did have a Benelli booth with a couple bikes, I forgot about that.

Hmm...Actually the Ducati chick was the same, and the brunette with the really long legs that wore a little short mini skirt was there. There were no Suzuki girls. And they had some local dealership that had some bomb-shell. Quality of girl I guess overall was better in Chicago, but actually Cleveland had more of them. Oh there were the asians passing out bags and stuff, but I'm not a huge fan of asians so I don't know which way I'd sway on that.

So I just got home from Chicago and the IMS there. All the same bikes for the most part, but more vendors. I'm glad I went it was over-all a bigger event than in Cleveland and a lot more people. I saw a lot of the same stuff, but there were quite a few more vendors for sure. Didn't take any pictures this time just wanted to share this.

I think this sounds like fun.
