  1. You're on here at work as much as I am man! Tell the guys I say hi.
  2. I don't like shaft drive. As far as maintenance they are excellent and very low maintenance, but my complaint is the rising and falling of the bike on accel and decel. BMW incorporated a torsion bar of sorts that helps, but the imports really seem to rise and fall on heavy accel and braking. Just my .02.
  3. +1 on the Pirelli Diablo Strada. Best tire for street I've ran ever. Sticky, wears evenly, and I'm at 9K miles and it's still got a good 5-6K to go on the tread.
  4. Aside from the withdrawals from not being able to check it here at work today it appears to be operating normally again, for me at least.
  5. My stock is a 65 as well. However I put the 70 on because I like the way if falls into the corner a little better. It isn't going to hurt anything as everyone else has said. It's all about preference.
  6. So you've found this forum to my friend! Does this bike look familiar to you? And of course, whoring my bike pic out some more...
  7. Aright updates...pics of the finished product... And just for reference...what it used to look like...
  8. How do you know that's my shop...err nevermind. Yeah it's yellow. Pics to come tomorrow. Finished it completely tonight and sunshine and blue skys for pictures tomorrow!
  9. Alright so I've been working most of the second part of the winter on my bike. Here's the finished pic in a pretty crappy low res image. I had to take the pic and had to post it. When it's finally finished I will be whoring it all over this forum. I'm pretty happy with the results though:banana:
  10. So I'm glad to hear you are ok and your bike is well. That sucks man. Props for reporting it and going through insurance and all. That's a good friend.
  11. I'm doing some work myself on the side. I wrenched at a shop for a short time (zerocrash can vouch). I've got enough tooling to do a good deal of work. Don't have a dyno though. Let me know what you need. I installed my jet kit. The hardest thing is getting it just right without the dyno. I'm close, but would like to get some dyno time myself to finish tuning it.
  12. I gave up a job at a motorcycle shop so I could have weekends off. So all the dates are good to me
  13. Disagree. And all about bikes, car's are just for the winter.
  14. Alright bud, I think I might be in on this one possibly. That's on my list of things to do before I die. And yeah let's here a few more details.
  15. Naw never! Keeping up with these forums and getting paid to do it is hard work!
  16. Good to see you on here! Welcome.

  18. Our bikes are primarily ABS. Plastic welding will work fine on them.
  19. Well I'll post in both threads. Decided to try it...Level 10 is the best I'm going to do.
  20. After calling around a bit today to get mine re-mounted I'm buying a machine. So within a week or so I'll be able to dismount mount and balance for 20. It's stupid what the dealerships around here are asking just to put the tire back on the wheel...$35 (no balance and tire of the wheel already).
  21. +1 for HNW. I'm not going to write paragraphs because this thread has been beaten enough. As an ex-employee there, if I buy a new bike, that's the only place I'll be buying from. I know most of the staff and they all work hard to be fair. My .02
