Rode today as well..Weatherman was so far wrong it's rediculous. It's been raining since 9:30 this morning...

The family will sue, so her money is going somewhere. She can't win that case. Her license is all she has left, and at that age I would expect the emotional trauma will probably kill her in short time anyways...It should still be taken, I can agree with that.

And the semi driver is thinking the whole time, then when he finds out he did nothing wrong.

That's really sad. Rightfully she should be charged with manslaughter, but can you really put someone that old in prison? She could pay everything she has left in her retirement, then what? On the other hand, the family of those killed has to live knowing the person who killed them walked away free for $20... Tough, sad.

I don't mind the highly polished part that's no problem. Its a no mar and they stand behind their product, so I will stand behind them. I don't have any clip ons nor do I stock them so that could be an issue though. Being a small shop, I just buy a box of stickies and keep them. If you wanted to pick up a handful of clip ons in various weights I will use them to balance it.

I was going down the road on US40 last night and two guys on bikes slowed down to 40mph in front of me... One guy was on a red triumph and the other was on a maroon fz6.

I can get tires. I have a supplier that cuts me a bit of a break, a business that can get me a little better price, and a few websites that I check around to find the best price. I prefer to not mess with buying them, but I will. I'm in Tipp city.

I'll take that as a compliment. I feel like I've done pretty good in life so far, I need a challenge now. Walking away from everything I know and starting fresh in a new place with nothing seems like just the challenge.

Why not? I'd actually prefer to be a bit more east, Knoxville, Asheville, NC, Charlotte, NC... A bit part of wanting to go to Nashville is the girlfriend wants to go there, but I'm not complaining at all because it's only 2 hours from Lake Cumberland, close to some really nice roads, good riding starts just east of Nashville, Memphis is a short drive, etc. I can't really think of any negatives to it right now.

So some of the local guys that I talk to know I've been thinking of moving for awhile now. I made an attempt at selling the house, it's still for sale really. I'll probably end up renting it out though. Anyways, yesterday I put my 2 weeks in at my job. So it's real now, I'm moving. I'm going to live in Nashville. It's a risk I suppose. I don't have a job, I don't have a house, my car is for sale, and I'm going to be 6 hours from my nearest family. As for my little shop, I think my dad can handle changing tires for all the Dayton guys. He can do all the work I can do, and since he's basically retired he's probably more flexible than I am. Anyone have contacts in Nashville? I'm going to need a job. That's all. Wish me luck and all that crap...
