  1. I'll probably be over in the area for labor day as well. The best advice for riding around Deals Gap is to avoid Deals Gap over the holiday weekend. Rt 30 from Dayton, TN to Pikeville, TN and on west is a really fun road. There's a ton of really great riding down there
  2. I carry in everywhere I go, restaurants too...In Nashville, TN The only silly gun restriction they have down here, that I have any issue with, is can't carry in city parks.
  3. Some sort of CRKT that I've had for years. I don't even know how old it is now. It's so dull and beat up, still works though.
  4. If I find I don't have a job yet or can get away I'll shoot over to the gap for a day or so. Sounds like a good excuse to play in the woods.
  5. Thats the problem with you NEO guys...you wanna go to the end of your driveway and turn around...If you want to play these games you gotta do a little riding.
  6. sport touring tire. roadsmart angel st pilot roads BT021 Avon Storms? I suggest one of the first three.
  7. If you guys want some front sprocket nuts let me know, I've got about 10 of them from when I was doing recalls on that bike...I found a shortcut that didn't require taking the nut off so I just tossed the extra's in my toolbox... Seems like there was another part that I didn't have to use either, can't remember what it was now...
  8. Go to Forrest park in downtown St. Louis. I know it sounds kinda lame, but the zoo and the art museum are actually pretty awesome. And free. There's also "the loop" downtown. Some bars, etc to hang out at. That's what I've got...
  9. I'll second this, they did my wheels. And I'll rep Garrett, he can do good work.
  10. I'm a fan of the corbin on my bike. My only complaint is it's hard to get off the seat trying to corner. They're designed, as someone mentioned above, to distribute the "load" more evenly. So on my seat the outside edges feel like the wrap around me a bit. In order to slide off the seat I have to pick myself up and move my body over. Now that I'm living in Nashville and there are some really good roads and not to mention Nashville speedway within a couple minutes of my house I have my stock seat for those spirited rides. Hands down I'll take the corbin for any amount of distance. The furthest I've ridden on it is about 400 miles and I had no complaints with the seat.
  11. You know how I know you're gay...
  12. With just a slip-on, performance wise they're about the same. You'll get a little different noise out of each. What you're really looking for with an aftermarket slip on is the ID. 2.25" is 2.25" no matter which slip on you have. They're all about the same length so that doesn't change anything either. Muzzy is as good as any other aftermarket slip on.
  13. This thread is sad... Sad that someone has lost their life. Equally sad that some are oblivious to emotions. It may be time to close this one. God forbid any of Chachi's family read this thread. It's an embarrassment to ORdN.
  14. from Tipp city as well. It's likely that I don't know you due to the generation gap, but hey.
  15. Any other time I'd say if you can get it to me I'll do it. No problem, as I've got the tools. This week though is my last in Ohio and I really doubt I'll have the time.
  16. It still is, the bikes can just barely sneak out by the side of it. The roof is torn off, but nothing back on it yet. I hope to have a bit of time tonight to ride. My focus today is getting the house emptied out though. There's not that much to move though, mostly just packing boxes that will take the most time. I saw a Red KTM....was that you?
  17. Leaving Friday around noon. Don't try to rush me out of Ohio.
  18. Did anyone see me? I was on I 70.
  19. I passed Brandt and Don and another bike that I didn't get a good enough look at to identify heading back about 5 30 on I 70. I was on my my to Cbus and you guys were headin west. I was in the cage.
  20. Well at about 6 miles from home, I thought I could handle it on my way home from work. I have had roofers at my house all day today and not been able to take a ride yet so I'm thinking tomorrow and hoping for a nice day.
