I just pulled together some cash from my 'rainy day fund'. I just need to deposit it into my checking and get signed up so I'm planning on being there and in the Open group. Jinu and Brandon...do either of you think I'll have any trouble in the Open group? You two were with me the last session so please be honest. Keep in mind we were all pretty tired so I'll probably be a little faster vs. late in the day.

Actually yes, cowboy boots and racing boots only share the last part...."boots". Other than that you can't compare the two. The odds of your foot flopping around like fish on the end of line are pretty good with cowboy boots if you wreck.

All I know is Jinu and the other turd on the speedtriple went by me and started slowly walking away in the last session. And they were in Open that day. Novice was good to be in and were turned it up several notches once the instructor knew were wanted to get some. You'll easily find a fast group of novice guys if the open group is to much for you, no problem.

I'm going to try to get back to Beaver as well. Just not sure if I want to try the open group or not seeing how this will be the 3rd track day this year and 2nd one at Beaver.

I'd rather drive 2 hours to a race track and track it all day than spend all day picking up broken pieces of bikes down south. Besides, most weekends for those trips don't work with my schedule.
