I've been tracking my street 1000 and I can tell you right now for most of the smaller tracks around here (except Mid-O) it's overkill and takes more work to be fast on it than a 600. If the track isn't over 2 miles the 1000 is just too much IMO. I'd consider buying that bike and tracking it instead of my 1000.

Just as a couple side notes: the Key Ring app, I use it for more than just key ring stuff (i.e. Kroger's, Petsmart, etc.). I put in all of my airline and hotel account numbers also. Seems a lot of others do as well since you can actually find Marriott, Delta Sky Miles, etc. from their list of stuff. And secondly, Easy Tether...just pay the $10 and buy the Pro version. With the Lite version you can't get access to some sites such as Facebook or banking sites. It's worth the $10 as I'll be using it a lot over the next 2 years. The Pro version also gives you support for doing VPN connections through it. There's my .02 cents.

I wasn't callin' ya out ZIXXER. I was hoping you'd just be able to shed some light on the subject is all. Easy Tether Light (which is free) will work for some stuff but you can't get to facebook, banking sites, etc. I just paid the $10 and got the Pro version, it also let you do VPN connection which you can't with Light I think.

Well...I used Easy Tether Pro like I said and I show no extra changes. How are they going to know I was tethering short of the shear amount of data I pulled and not using the VZW Manager?

I don't think that's entirely factual. I USB tethered for an entire week while on vacation using an actual +4GB of data and it was all covered under my unlimited plan. Now I'm also using Easy Tether Pro.

The wife was watching CSI from her Eris on our way back from Charleston, SC. just last week. It was actually pretty good for streaming OTA.
