  1. My apologies when I was looking at X5 diesels those were the costs. Didn't realize there were cheaper options.
  2. Also don't forget about UREA fluid required in many newer diesel SUVs. That's another $150 or so every 10-15k miles. Combine that with diesel being more expensive in Ohio than gas can make the gap closer even if you're running premium. I think the other thing you're seeing is that the 3.0T is more efficient than a V8 so they're closer in mileage.
  3. Love the Fondale Bob posted. If you can swing it the PAM 372 is the hotness. You can dress up (no tux though) or down with it and it has a timeless look. Gonna be bigger than the others you're looking at though. http://www.jomashop.com/panerai-watch-pam00372.html
  4. Sounds like quite track killer. Look forward to videos.
  5. Congrats. They really are great cars. I was able to ride along with an instructor at Mid Ohio in his and was amazed at the brakes and the way that car can pull out of corners.
  6. Tempting, and I've been wanting to try an event with 10/10ths, but I think I'm out for April events this year, especially early ones. I may do a Friday-only PCA event, but not likely. The weather is just too hard to judge.
  7. Great to see you coming back to Mid Ohio. Your events have a great reputation so I hope to be able to make this one and close out the year that way.
  8. Tons of wrong facts in the video and he goes on and on about "stancing" when that car has basic lowering springs. It could be daily driven that way without issue. I drove my car for 7 years without issue and it was lower than that.
  9. BUICK always a blue-hair out there that will take you out if you're not on your toes. Prius douchebags come after that.
  10. Yeah 16 was the worst by far. There were a couple others that were rough too. When we got there they said that they were playing around with tire pressures on the karts so I wonder if maybe some had goofy combinations and didn't get changed back with the rest of the karts.
  11. It was a good time and more fun than I thought it'd be. The only downside is that there was inconsistency in the karts. There were a couple that were so tail happy they were really hard to drive. Still fun but no hope of being fast if you got one of those. Hopefully they can make them more consistent over time. I don't think they'll be able to grate the floor because it will open it up for degradation over time. That polished concrete surface is strong and will last well.
  12. I like that deflector/rock guard. Did you add that? Notice a MPG difference with and without it?
  13. Payment sent. Hope your family can have a good holiday.
  14. While they're not known for working on Japanese cars, I'd have him check out Auto Assets in Powell.
  15. I can dig it for originality. Not sure I would have gone with as big of a car, but still cool.
  16. I was coming here to post to use anyone BUT US Bank, but hopefully if you have a good connection like Kevin he can help you out. Just stay away from the New Albany branch as its full of retards. I had such a bad experience with my most recent auto loan with them that I will be ending my entire 13 year relationship (mortgage, 2 autos, checking, multiple savings) with them when it is convenient to do so.
  17. Welcome. If I take the averageblackman and ask him that, will he say she gotta pack much back? Good looking VW
  18. Haha. I have street wheels and tires for the FD...I think they got under 500 miles in them this year. The car spends most of the time between track days on jack stands getting something fixed.
  19. Cool project Grant, can't wait to see it come together.

    1995 BMW M3

Was able to get the new components on the car over the weekend and all is good now, no more leak from the thermostat housing. Had a couple of PMs on the car, so anyone wanting to see it in person, just let me know.

    1995 BMW M3

I've had a couple of PMs on this car, and yes it's still for sale. Sorry I've gotten tied up with track days and had an issue that needed sorted on my wife's car. The M3 developed a coolant leak from the front of the motor that was hitting the belts. I'm currently in the process of replacing the thermostat cover, o-rings, and water pump, since those are the only places it could be leaking from. The car should be back up and running this weekend.
  22. here's their latch link offering which is more popular with the drag/dirt crowd: https://www.schrothracing.com/competition/latch-link-16.1/LL-III-5 Here's a cheap cam-lock option that you said you were looking for, which is still SFI rated: https://www.schrothracing.com/competition/clubman/clubman-III I run the Clubman harnesses in the passenger seat of my car and I've never had any complaints from people. I use Profi's in my driver's seat and have enjoyed them.
