  1. I fail at that one, most because I collect crappy parts and consumables for a FD that constantly breaks.
  2. No meth, but I've run a simple Coolingmist water injection system on the Rx7 for a few years and have had good success with it. If you're going to run 49% or less meth mixture I recommend their products, but I don't think they have a 100% meth pump. I installed it myself it was pretty easy.
  3. Thanks guys. My first student was great so the weekend was a good experience all around.
  4. Sweet pickup, and you can practice all winter long in iRacing in your own car...score
  5. Interesting. Definitely close to home for me. I'll have to see if I'm free. What prompted you to start putting on a Mazda meet?
  6. What ever happened with him not serving his penalty? They kind of just stopped talking about it at the end, but I didn't see him come in.
  7. Correct that the Aero models offered in 08-09 were the TBSS clones. I didn't realize the 5.3s had AFM, but others have already given you the best ideas to help it. It'll never stop though.
  8. Used car trailers hold their value really well. If you can't find a screaming deal and plan to keep it for a while then buying new is a good option. Check out http://www.rockstrailersales.com for new steel trailers. Otherwise you just have to stumble upon someone that doesn't know the market very well.
  9. Awesome news. What brands will you carry?
  10. As I said before, congrats and I think you have a good opportunity to grow that business. Hopefully Doug is understanding in having Andy do my picky alignments while I sit in the car. Haha
  11. 94-95 cars had passenger airbags from the factory but with the amout of modifications he's done otherwise I'm sure it's gone. At least I really hope so.
  12. Dig it. The child seat in the FD is a bold move. No airbag in the 93 cars but my wife freaked out when I even mentioned doing it and I can only imagine the crap he gets from soccer moms on the road. More power to him though I bet his kid loves it.
  13. Try Hedrick on Morse http://www.bizzspot.com/Radiators-in-Columbus-OH-Hedrick-Auto-Radiator-208
  14. Another +1 for TCKline and Auto Assets. Both have great service and know BMWs very well.
  15. I'm in the camp that track wheels take more abuse than street wheels. However, it should be noted that the BBS Motorsport wheels are not designed for a weekend track guy or club racer. They're designed for factory high dollar race teams where every pound counts and big money is spent. The wheels on those teams are more of a wear item so they'll give up some durability for the lightness. Andrew sounds like he knew this going in so that's why he's not raging at the failure. He handled it and moved on. Good for him. I bought Rotiform wheels for my wife's TL and have enjoyed them so far. Other than taking a long time to get them they were a good company to deal with.
  16. I've used the Motive bleeder in the past with good results. Just make sure to not over pressurize older m/c reservoirs as we had one break and spray brake fluid everywhere. I've also had good results with speed bleeders in the calipers and that works well for one man bleeding too.
  17. Like the color, like the euro bumpers, like the works....hate the fit and height and mostly the -20 degrees of rear camber.
  18. Qualifying was entertaining and I'm looking forward to the race. I'm going to create a t-shirt that says "the 2014 F1 cars sound like poop" I'd like to see Williams fighting at the front again.
  19. Will it work on a 2014 model? I have someone I can let know.
  20. I had a good experience with http://www.redbubble.com in getting a framed print of the front end of an old Caddy for my friend.
  21. Good looking Hamilton! I've had a Hamilton Khaki Chrono Automatic for almost 10 years and I've beat the piss out of it and never serviced it. It's never skipped a beat.
  22. Thanks for the insight on Chumpcar. Honestly though, while not cheap, the costs don't seem much different than HPDE events. I'm easily at $850/weekend when you average out consumable costs over the year.
