  1. No. After Mazda won LeMans the rules were changed that made the rotary not competitive as an engine choice. Also, endurance racing like LeMans has evolved into a nearly 24hr sprint race and fuel mileage is important which would further hamper a rotary effort.
  2. I borrowed this truck to tow my car/trailer with and it does an amazing job. This truck can do it all while being very comfy and having every feature you'd want.
  3. Cool little engine and idea. Don't think it'd scale we'll enough to power vehicles but it could be useful in smaller applications.
  4. Cool idea. Any more info on sizes/flow/performance? How often do they need to have the grease serviced in higher heat applications?
  5. Great recovery from a possibly crappy weekend.
  6. That car is badass and seeing him rip thru LA was cool. Thanks for sharing.
  7. One signal = one car can pass. Mustang was at fault and fortunately nobody got hurt or any cars damaged. I will say that it looks like the STI driver looks in his side mirror before coming left so I'm surprised that it got that close.
  8. Interesting setup with the v-mount with fans. Are you going to run an under panel at all? I can't remember which turbo you run, is it a T04?
  9. I ran snow tires year round on my old Dodge since it's main purpose was a winter truck and the rest of the year it saw minimal use. Yes they make a ton of noise in the summer, they're squishy, but they will not burn up or melt. You're driving an old truck so the performance of the tire shouldn't be too noticeable and if you're not putting a ton of miles on it you'll be fine with the wear.
  10. If you're having a baby then get one. Otherwise don't. The flu is brutal on a baby and you don't want to spend time downtown at Children's in the ER with your child. Do your best effort to prevent that.
  11. I have no personal use to share but my buddy shot my wife's TL with 3 of the bee lights in what was otherwise totally dark and it came out great.
  12. I would have traded you last year but did the manual conversion on mine this past winter. No going back now. Kevin the build looks good.
  13. I'll take them Grant. Just text me and we can figure out when to meet up.
  14. I like the camera and video editing. Next time I'd put one inside the car though as it's much more helpful as a learning tool to see what you're doing. Was that your first time on track at Mid Ohio, or just the first time in the STI? Did you have an instructor in the car with you?
  15. Wow, Alex looks SSSOOO much different now. I'll talk to Amanda and see what our schedule looks like. Are all of these being done at your studios? Or should we setup time on our own if we want to do outside photos again?
  16. Yes, I've never done it but should. Minimum order of 3 shirts.

Picked one up. When I rotated the tires on the Saab the sensors wouldn't relearn their positions. My wife's acura has never had problems with that. At least now I have a cheap fix so thank you.
  18. Audion19s and myself were there driving all weekend. Should have stopped by to say hi. And no it shouldn't be your last visit. Events run all the way through October.
  19. Lolz. In seriousness you will never get DTCs up to temp on the street, and they dust HORRIBLY...and you're certainly not blind so you'll see how bad it F's your wheels. Of track pads that I've run Carbotech was the most street-friendly but I'd still not be looking at their XP lineup. I'd look at their street or the most their AX lineup.
  20. Polished concrete is likely the only thing that'll hold up that I've heard about.
  21. Go on Garage Journal and look at people doing ceramic tile. Seems to be better than epoxy unless you plan on welding in your garage or dropping very heavy pointy objects.
  22. I've used the thermo quiets on my wife's TL with good results. I think you'll find most parts stores offer similar levels of pads.
  23. Hawk LTS brake pads and Raybestos pro grade rotors from Rock Auto. Not cheap but the best compromise for heavy use without it being unbearable in terms of dust or noise IMO. that will be the next setup I run on the Saab since I tow a car with it about 7 times a year.
  24. While quads seem nice because they're viewed as more stable, in my experience youth dirt bikes are safer and more fun for kids. The youth quads are painfully slow and still have a decent danger from rolling. While they're more likely to tip/fall over on the dirt bike they also weigh less and are not going to get crushed. Kids also seem to keep interest in the dirt bikes longer.
