  1. I may try to make it out in my winter beater. Maybe I can church it up and bring the wife's winter warrior.
  2. Sorry for the delay getting back to people. Sale of wheels/tires is pending to Alex. Ryan, I'm unfortunately not sure of the offset, it is a FWD friendly one though as I ran them on my Talon and then my wife's Mazda6. I'm betting that you'd need hubcentric rings for your car, and I'm not sure where to get those unfortunately.
  3. I have a set of 16" steel wheels with snow tires Wheels are 5x114.4 bolt pattern. Tires are Hankook W404 Winter Radials size 205/55 - 16. The wheels are ugly and could use some cleanup and/or rattle-bombed. The tires should have at least a couple of seasons of Ohio winter left in them. Open disclosure, the last year we used these on the wife's car they had a decent wobble/vibration to them at highway speeds. Not enough for us to take them off though, so maybe it can be balanced out, I'm not sure. SOLD! SOLD! SOLD!
  4. no help for you until you finish your PP FD project!
  5. I agree, kill the 2.0T and Sonata badges, but leave the "H". Car does look sharp. Can't wait to see it dropped!
  6. To clarify, I'm not trying to discount the systems themselves at all. My wife's TL has a backup camera that works with her Navi screen and it's great. What I was trying to say, though, is that we all know that the general motoring public is not always bright enough to use the tools at their disposal, so I wouldn't think this tool would be much different. It will help at first...but eventually people will just either ignore it or find another way to horribly run over shit. I see this happening more in the lower end cars which get less expensive and effective systems.
  7. I've had an aerobed, but I no longer use it because it can't make it thru the night without me ending up just sleeping on the floor basically. It lasted thru a good 2 years of regular use, but after that it now has a slow leak that I can't find nor seal (I think it's leaking around the motor that auto-fills it) pretty much rendering it useless.
  8. The idea is sound, but unfortunately i think they're over-estimating people's ability/willingness to use it. I think in a few years all we'll hear are stories about how they weren't paying attention and still ran the kid/toy/bike/car over. The only difference now is that the driver of the car will get a nice traumitizing picture to go with their memory of doing the act when they look at the camera screen at the last second to see themselves running over something.

  12. Voted....I want one of those smokes in return Bob.
  13. Bob just loves to hate on every watch I love...even though the movement in his Breitling is the same as in my Tag.
  14. very cool that they gave him a shot like that. Also cool to see his determination even after he had physical issues.
  15. I pieced together and was much happier with what I got for my money. Check out http://www.goodoldgold.com for stones. They're a physical store in NY so it's nice that you can call and talk to someone if you like, but at the same time they do a huge volume so you get online prices. Their site is great and arguably gives you more info than you'd get from someone local unless you're getting VERY personalized attention. For a setting I went to Diamond Cellar and chose the one I wanted and then had them fit the stone. They were a bit stuffy and didn't want to discount the setting for me because I wasn't buying the stone there. They did a good job of mounting everything up though and I returned there to have my band custom made. Remember...CUT CUT CUT! At least with round stones like I bought it makes all of the difference in how the light is displayed through the stone.
  16. I'm keeping the DVD plan I have until I see the streaming content change. I'd really like to not have to get DVD's for Californication and Dexter on the later seasons. Many shows they don't have any of it streaming as well.
