  1. Sorry to see that the move didn't work out as you had planned, but glad to see you figured out how to make the most of the situation. Hope all goes well.
  2. Thanks Bob. This one's a keeper too after sending the other back. :dumb: This one is a N series (2011) and still under warranty through 5/2013. It came with the OEM brown calf strap in great shape, a darker brown vintage aftermarket strap, and the OEM crock which is in the picture. I'm definitely pumped.
  3. Bump this thread back up. Got something I've been wanting for a LONG time today! I'll post up a better thread when I get better pics. http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z56/kutschca/photo5.jpg
  4. perhaps I didn't catch it, but what's wrong?
  5. I still can't believe this is happening. I really worry that it'll flop and make our country look dumb in the process. Why the big push after we already signed up for having Texas on the schedule too? I think Texas will be a great venue and everything the FIA has been looking for in a US F1 circuit. NJ, especially a street circuit, will likely be a bogey.
  6. http://101tees.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/missouris.gif no help, just stopping by to post this. Good luck with your search.
  7. Thanks for putting on this event Shawn and it was nice meeting you. There was a great turnout and some cool cars there.
  8. love the idea of a Cannonball remake....not so hot on it only being GM vehicles, or going into it knowing that no matter what the GM vehicles are going to magically win.
  9. do eeeet. Should be the last good chance to get to the track this year.
  10. I believe Audion19s is bringing his GT3, so there's going to be 2 VWs...:gabe:
  11. I'm signed up. I'll be in the car in my sig. My friend in a white e36 M3 will be there too.
  12. Nice e55. Sounds fast. Welcome to the site.
  13. What's your policy on changing groups during the day? I would normally run in the A group at a Funday, but I haven't been to the track all year so I was planning on signing up for Intermediate. I just wasn't sure if I'd be able to change groups later if desired.
  14. I have (2) 225/40-18 BFG KDW2's. Some camber wear. The insides are about 2/32nds and the outsides about 4/32nds. $20 for the pair if you can meet me within a reasonable distance of Westerville.
  15. A friend of mine had a ls-swapped FD that was built by a reputable shop that was a continual headache for him. He actually blew the LS1 up twice, and always seemed to have swap related problems. I guess it's possible for the trouble to go both ways. I'm certainly not saying the rotary is a "set it and forget it" situation, but that's also some of the appeal. The basics are the same as piston motors, but more important to stick to. Keep the motor (Coolant AND oil) temps down and let it warm all the way up before beating on it. I'm also a big believer in water injection on turbo rotaries. I've run a basic coolingmist setup on mine for over 2 years now and could not be happier.
  16. it was nasty out there this morning. I was going to take the FD to work today since it's nice out. Started taking the back roads thinking it wouldn't be that bad...not so. Smothers rd (County Line) was backed up over the bridge over Hoover all the way until it dead-ended into Harlem Rd. Harlem was then backed up all the way down to Walnut. Basically all of the people commuting from Newark into Columbus were forced to take those back roads. I saw the crap on Harlem....:dumb:...I turned my crap around and blasted back by the people stuck in the gridlock. Good think I can work from home. :gabe: Was back and able to sign on by 8:00 :fuckyeah:
  17. Don't go jinxing us now Joe! But yes, to your point, the LS swap isn't quite the easy street that people make it out to be.
  18. They seem to have figured a lot out since then. The 3-rotor motors they currently use in Grand-Am/Rolex have pretty long intervals between rebuilds. It's a shame to see them drop the rotary completely. The rx-8 never really lived up to the hype for me. There were always quips that direct injection would save the rotary while making more power and helping with emissions, but I guess it wasn't to be. Hell, they even made an all aluminum prototype 16x engine a few years back. Guess it didn't work as good as it looked. I had always hoped that they could build an all aluminum 3 rotor sports car, but alas, I'll just have to save up tons of cash to do it to mine.
  19. Glad to see you're doing well and keeping up business. Looks like good work, and it looks like many people with lots of disposable income have horrible taste in wheels. Totally :megusta: the e55 with the LMs though.
  20. I've used Gold Star before, they'll help you out.
  21. I totally want to take the basic lockpicking class. Looks fun.
  22. You shouldn't spread around something you obviously have just taken in passing as being true. If you had ever reasearched Parkinson's disease you would know that one of the main side effects of the medicine in the later stages of the disease is Dyskinesia which is what causes the uncontrolled movements. He's not moving more because he stopped taking his meds to gain sympathy, he's moving more BECAUSE he took the meds.
  23. I'm not above blended whiskeys at all, but JWB is not good. I have owned and drank bottles of Johnnie Gold and Swing, and Blue is good too, but Black, Green, and Red are NOT!
  24. When I purchased it I was in Lexington. I do know that they serve it at The Pub, so I'd think that it should be available here. Check Weilands Gormet Market on Indianola in Clintonville, they have the best selection liquour store that I've found in town.
