And, not directed to you, but why do i have to spend my $$ on an inferior product, just because it's American? Things being equal, I'd love to give my $$ to the home team, but I'll be damned if i spend my hard earned money on an inferior product (bikes or whatever) just because it's domestic. Domestic manufacturers need to step up or get out the game. That's called Capitalism, and it's what this country runs on.

Come on man ... you are smarter than that!!! When they came out with the NEW harley engine in the last five or so years, people complained that the damn thing ran to SMOOTH and didnt vibrate enough. The problem is that most Harley riders wouldnt know a good engine if it didnt make their ass fall asleep in the first 15 minutes. Sounds like stupid to me. Balancing the vibration out of a motor is only going to make things better and thats all there is to it.

Yep, Been there a few times and to some degree it is worse than Chicago and much worse than cleveland except for one area on the west side in cleveland I think. Well, First ride on a powered bike was a kawi or a yamaha 80 dirt bike... Stalled it the first time and the second time went straight through the gears to the limit and was hooked. Yea it was only 55 or so but i got a taste.

First bike that I bought was a 75 cb550 that was trashed and beaten and was the only honda i had seen leaking oil but it was fun and then too slow within 3 minutes. That bike is stripped to the frame and is being welded and soon will be going back together as a bare bones street legal cafe bike.

Second bike is the 93 VT1100 that some of you have seen and is my avatar.

0 to 80 its a blast in a straight line and thats good enough for me right now but if anybody wants to trade a Ducati for it let me know...yea that means you yota!!!

Bike of choice would be a streetfighter and turbocharged cbr 600rr, but I would poke an eye out and that would be bad.
