    3 Bike Trailer

  2. We store this up against our garage wall. It only weighs 320# so Bret and I can move it by ourselves. It has custom made bolt-on end pieces for support on the bottom then it is held up with heavy duty wire bolted onto the wall.

    The trailer

From the album: 3 Bike Trailer

  4. Sniper you have a PM. Bret and I own it, it's just that, like I said, Twisted and several other ppl have used it.
  5. Thanks Twisted! All pics we have from previous trips were on our now-crashed hard drive. This trailer is stored up against our garage wall so we'll get it down today and get some pics of it empty.
  6. We have a 3 rail trailer for sale. It has been used for our bikes several times and several members of this forum have borrowed it, including one trip when it carried three sport bikes. Includes trailer jack/stand with wheel and spare tire Pics to follow soon Asking $450 on Craigslist but offering it to OR members for $400 PM MrBret or F4iBunny if interested
  7. I have to sit out on this one, gotta work
  8. We have LWR and LWD on dvd. I haven't seen all of the Africa one but was impressed with the first one. I think they should be commended for taking these trips!
  9. Tempting! I love my F4i and don't want to take it on the track as it's my only bike. But having a second one so I can do track days would be cool! But I don got no money! This is a really good deal for this bike though people! I got mine for just under 4K and it's a 2001 with 9000 miles.
  10. After an early morning landing and Bret's mom's funeral service, we didn't have plans for the day. We went up to Galley Hill, a hilltop parking lot with a cliff edge overlooking the beach with a great view of the sea. We're chilling out when suddenly this guy starts shouting. We look and he's standing near the cliff edge with a knife held to his neck! WTF?! He's shouting a cop who is trying to talk him down. Now jumping off this cliff would probably hurt you pretty bad but you most likely wouldn't die. There's much higher cliffs in the area that are known for suicide. And if he was going to jump, why bring a knife? So anyway, the guy ends up charging the cop who walks past our car and when I saw him at the back he was aiming his pepper spray at the guy (cops here don't carry firearms). Next thing I see is the guy bleeding profusely from his neck, staggering on my side of the car toward the cliff edge again! The knife flies out of his hand. The cop is spraying him then ends up tackling him about 6 feet from the edge. Another cop comes and trieds to help restrain him and he's still fighting. Another cop showed up soon after and that's when I noticed the poor first cop had gotten the pepper spray in his own eyes as it was f-ing windy up there. I looked back and the rear window of our rental car had blood splattered on it. I got out once the guy was subdued to look and it was all over the back end of the hatchback! By this time, there's cops everywhere plus an ambulance. We talked to the cops about what we had seen then headed out once they had him in the ambulance. As we're driving thru town to get to a car dealership where a friend works and offered to clean the car, we're stuck in traffic and the cops and the ambulance pass us on the way to the hospital. Later that evening, we get a call from the cops that they need us to come down to the station and give official statements. So our first night in the UK was spent at the police station for 2 hours. Cool thing is they said they might need us if it goes to court (which probably will only happen if the guy dies) so they would fly us back to testify. OK! And that, my friends, is the excitement in Bexhill for the next 20 years!
  11. Got news yesterday that Bret's mom has passed away. We're scrambling to get things together to leave for the UK on Monday. We were hoping to save up some money and go for vacation next year. Didn't expect to be going so soon. But anyway, Bret and I will be MIA for a little bit while we take care of things.
  12. Sorry to hear about the bike, but hey, at least you have another set of plastics!
  13. You did, when I sold it. Funny thing is I had two ppl ask me for pictures of the actual bike! LOL I took this when we went to the Dragon last year.
  14. I was up there around 5 and lots of bikes were rolling in. Should be a pretty good turn out. They only have the larger east lot coned off so I think it might get full. They are auctioning off the Charity Lane spots tonight too. See you there!
  15. Mom's doing ok. Was going to go up there this weekend to take the PT up but I'm not sure it will make it. Talked to her today, she said after any movement her knee swells. Maybe a little more time off of it.

About the job- they don't think I can handle the management position along with my hours at MV. They are worried about which job would take priority. They offered me a part-time position to try me/them out. I accepted but haven't heard back. So I don't know. We do know how they like to take their time. Are we still on for Wednesday?

  16. My phone alerts me intermittently through the day when I receive new email. I have checked my mail in the past and even though the time stamp on the alert was correct, in the inbox it has been been for the next day in the future. Ok, kinda weird. Well, yesterday (9/29/2009), I received an email alert. While the time stamp in my inbox was correct, the time stamp on the alert? 1:30pm Sept 30, 1939!!!
  17. I don't have to work so I should be there. Although when I do work that usually guarantees the weather will be nice. So if I don't work....you know what that means.
  18. Don't be surprised if there aren't several continuances filed. The drunk that hit Bret 9/08 just finally was found guilty and sent to jail last week!
  19. Are you telling that in CA it's only $30/yr to renew personal plates?! That can't be right! It's like $85 or something like that here! Happy birthday tp Bret in December. We've got 2 cars, his bike and the trailer all with personalized plates due then! When I lived in Louisville it your plate renewal was based on the value of your vehicle. Brand new SUV was not fun to renew.
