  1. Its a sportbike primarily. But KTM's are on the tracks so it varies. I'll let Brian or Monte make the call on whats usable.

As for doing it as something new. I would recommend anyone that can do it....DO IT. I learned a LOT more then I feel would have on the street alone. And you don't have to worry about all that debris in the road, that animal that jumps out in front of you etc.

The biggest thing you need is equipment. (Full Suit, Boots, Gloves and a good helmet) And all that combined can get pricey to say the least.

  2. I left for Reubens today anyways at 10am. It was fine down 70West until I got to the Indy border. Saw a 5 car accident, two rollovers and a few more accidents...but the roads were ok.

On the return trip...holy S*$%....They were completely covered with no markings what so ever. Saw a lot of people sliding off the road that had no clue how to drive. I just had it in 4High and plunged down the road without issues. WITH a trailer in tow! 65-72mph in a completely covered road at night is fun by yourself :D Franklin should be a level 2, but probably a 3. Too bad the sheriff is more worried about reelection then public safety and will never call a lvl 3 emergency.

  3. This makes me sad and annoyed! We got the current amount on Tuesday when I scheduled and got the bike Dyno Tuned and it was a pita to drive through at times. I was scheduled to take it out to Reuben at 35 motorsports tomorrow and now this comes! WTF is a guy suppose to do when hes trying to get things done!

  4. I would also like to point out that many manufacture's are forcing places to post retail prices on their website. (A-Star, Arrow, etc)

I recommend calling him to get the best price or if he does the same here as a sponsor, register and he updates your account with the discount added in.

  5. before someone else says anything he has always been a good seller to me! He has given me some great prices and have had onlt good dealings with him. There is some bad press gong around on him,but like i said he has always done me right and the junkies too.

    +1

I have talked and ordered with Jason (owner) for the majority of all my race bike parts. He is knowledgeable and willing to work with you and help you get what you need. He’s a sponsor on junkies and just noticed a post from him here the other day. (xtrmsbks)

He has a great deal/sale on all Michelin tires through February if you’re looking for some. Keep in mind that other business might be a little cheaper due to bulk orders. But if you’re looking to get some good parts with some savings, he’s the man to talk to. Hopefully he will become a sponsor here and give us the hook-up also!

    And correct website is:

  6. Going to sting a bit when a sport tourer hits the same as a Superbike.... 110 hp.... Lol!

Oh well, it's still more than SJC's race bike. :D:8_2_88:

We both know what happened at CMP :D ...so don't make me bring out my 1000RR :p

  7. Think our initial runs were around 102 starting with the premade map that I got from Dynojet. (knowing it would be off, but at least run) The bike was so rich, it might as well have been sending dollar bills out the exhaust pipe! :beating: We had a lot of -20s and a few -30s in there.

  8. Wanted to give a big thanks to Brian. We had scheduled today to map my new trackbike and he endured the cold and white death to come on out and tune it up for me. This bike we found out was very temp sensitive and a sever pain to tune unfortunately. But....4 hours later he came up with a map and made the best of what my bike could be!

If you guys need someone to tune your bike or want some dyno runs to see where you stand. Brian is the one to contact!

  9. Finally got some of the parts on her..and off!. Tires, Air Filter, Full exhaust, Power Commander, Case Covers and radiator back on and running and PAIR removed. Sounded weak at first....then realized the stupid dB baffle was in it, so that came out in a hurry! :D Now it sounds good! Just waiting on the shock to get delivered Monday along with some misc spare parts.

    Things to do this week:

Get with a friend to break the chain and install new one+sprockets.

Schedule a tune/mapping session with DTM Brian and get my plastics off for paint with Paul.

Schedule a time with Reuben to get the suspension installed and setup.

Find money for more tires :(

I'll add pics when I get home of how the progress went and what it looks like.
