  1. If you guys want the phone # for my guy at fifth third, pm me for it. Guy was really nice and helped me get the best deal I could back when I got my house. He ran it about 4 different ways and explained the differences to me.

Now I just need to get this going before they change again.

    Long Link but 5/3 rates:

  2. I got a Speedohealer V4 last year w/plug n play harness and had no problem installing it. The hardest part was getting my true speed. I ended up pacing a new Honda Accord with a digital readout and found out I was 7% slower around 65mph. Took the tank cover off, lifted tank up and hooked it all up. Ran the wires along my PC3, the directions they come with are ok and after reading a few times I got it worked out. Used their calculator for the % error to enter and got it set up. Wasn't hard to do at all, but I took my time and did things right the first time.

  3. Its the same concept, but goes about it differently for more $$. Its basically a very small router with all the drivers/software inside it vs having to set it up yourself. (which is easy)

The wireless bridge is what I use. It comes in via the coax cable into the cable modem, then into a wireless router(which I have upstairs). From there you activate your wireless network within the router with a name/password so that only you know what it is (otherwise outside people will leech your net). From there, the signal goes to my other router (downstairs for me) and you take a standard ethernet/cat5 cable from the second router into the Xbox. Its hardwired to the router, but the signal/internet is wireless to it from the other. Its still very fast and I have had no problems with it thus far on Live.

Took me maybe 5 minutes to setup. I used (2) Linksys WRT54GL's with Tomato firmware. If you want more info on this, shoot me a pm/em and I can try to walk you through it. Wireless routers are cheap nowdays, and ethernet cable is also if you don't have some.

  4. Burnt two weeks in the summer, two more for deer season and random times this year. Think total I took about 6 weeks off this year. O well, still have 200hrs to go and its about to start a new year! Now to save up for some riding gear ect....suppose I need to retrace that Mid Ohio thread.

  5. Scheduled and not much of a choice for me. (we work 24/7), but...for $82/hr yeah....I'll go in on Christmas and today... ;)

Though the whole lack of food this was a major pita. Hopefully things will be open today and I can eat something other then chips at work. Though...making pork chops, brauts and other fun things for dinner for myself was a good x-mas dinner to make up for it!

  6. Not sure on the adapter, so I hit google/360 forums. The answer is...yes. No other USB adapter will work since the ms360 one has the drivers/setup for the 360 preloaded.

I set mine up via wireless/wired as I didn't wante to hassle with it. I have 2 Linksys routers, so I set the 1st one on wirless network ect. I set the 2nd one to wireless bridge network so that it would go off the 1st one. I then took a short Cat5 cable from the 2nd router to the 360. Its fast and secure.

  7. Woose! I left around noon yesterday for Cincinnati and drove through all this. Hit up Bass Pro, then went to The Party Source for some select beverages. Afterwards, 32 East back to my parents house then 23 North back home. Mind you this would take around 5.5 hours normally maybe 6. And yesterday it took 12!..... But I had no accidents and avoided tards at all costs by hitting secondary highways when possible, 4 Wheel drive 4TW.

  8. Was a dud year for me. Got a 8pt in bow...barely saw 1 in gun season. Thus far for the Family:

    Me-8pt

    Brother-7pt

    Dad-4pt

    Mom-Adult Doe

Last year we took 11 deer and this year 4....so not looking good but still time for bow/muzz season.

  9. Yeah, that was kinda a hope i was thinking of also. Since the one I got has a big body (122lbs dressed,180ish live) and smaller antlers..it was nice to pick him out of the herd to get some better gene's into the next few years births. Hopefully in about 2-3 years we will have more decent shape/mass to hunt. This season thus far, they are moving very late in the day. Everyone that has a deer so far got it between 5-5:30. Only 1 person I know got a early morning deer, which was right at dawn. But that with with the warm weather keeping them down. Hopefully they are moving a lot more now.

  10. I quarter out my own deer and got about 6 big roasts, 10 bags of burger and about 5 bags of loin. Loin Chops, Roast with potatoes/vegs, and burger into everything that can be used in it. So far, my brother got a 7pt, me a 8pt, dad hit a 8pt but after trailing for 1/2 mi and crossing the property lines it got away. But with this years gun season soon approaching we hope to get more. Last year we got 11 deer, so hoping to hit that mark again this year since in zone C, you can get 6 deer in 1 day.

My brother noticed that the reg's changed and sent an E-mail to ODNR asking about it. Since the hunting manual only states the limit was 6 with no specs, he asked if it had to spread out or can be taken in one day. Their reply was, Yes...6 deer can be taken in 1 day...but only so long as each deer is tagged by the hunter before the next deer is taken. So...take one...place your temp on it and get your next before checking in at the end of the day. Now...I know we would all tag our deer (cough) before mowing down the herd ;)

  11. With knowledge of your area, it doesn't take too long. I did crossbow for a few years, then started compound late last year. Bought a Reflex Bighorn, Scott's Mongoose Deluxe release and misc other items. Took maybe two days to have it sighted in back to 50yds with 6 inch patterns.

Randomly going out won't work very well, if you know the area and when the deer are moving you can clean up nicely. Went to my parents this past weekeend and bagged one Friday evening at 25yds after waiting for around 2.5 hours. Not the biggest I have gotten by any means, but hey...its something in the freezer.

Before (Would have loved to see the big one!)

  12. I got my 07 in June for $8999 at Joe Carsons in Lancaster. You might give a call to Honda East of Toledo and get a price from up there. (877) 437-1631) When I was looking they had a bunch in stock of all colors around $8700 at the start of the year. They might still have some in stock that you can use the price against someone down here like I did for mine. GL and hope you can find someone with a deal!

  13. LoL!!

Though this is still way way early, has anyone though of places to stay for those that don't want to drive to and fro the same day? Maybe a group discount at a hotel for a night or two and that makes good meeting/starting place other then the track.

I know several people have stayed up there either for Races or track days, so personal experiance is always helpful.

  14. Bike Preparation

All bikes MUST pass technical inspection prior to admittance to the track. If your bike DOES NOT pass tech inspection, you will NOT receive a refund.

Tires and brakes must be in good condition. Tires should be at least 75 percent of new condition. Any tires that are bluing from excessive wear will be disallowed. Slicks are allowed in 85 percent plus condition. We will have on site tire service at each track day, so if your tires don't pass, you will have the opportunity to put on replacement tires to pass tech.

All glass, headlight, turn signals, and plastic lenses must be taped over or removed. Side mirrors must be removed for the advanced group and at least taped over for all other groups.

We recommend, but do not require removal of center stands. No bikes with center stands will be allowed in the Advanced/Racer Group due to the ground clearance issue.

All machines must have an operational handlebar mounted kill switch/button and self-closing throttle in good working condition.

Advanced and Intermediate group riders MUST use water or water wetter or a non-ethyl glycol based anti-freeze/coolant. Approved Poly Glycol brands are: Evans, 7th Gear, Liquid Performance, and Engine Ice. NO AUTOMOTIVE ETHYL GLYCOL BASED COOLANTS ARE ALLOWED.

-All valve stems must have caps.

-Wheel balance weights must be well-secured.

-License plates must have bolts taped or be removed

    -No Fur Allowed.

    Rider Gear Requirements

Damage free DOT or SNELL full-face helmet with face shield.

Riding boots that fully cover the ankle.

Gauntlet style gloves with full wrist coverage.

One or two piece leathers. Two piece leather suits must zip together for intermediate or advanced groups. Ballistic nylon suits such as Joe Rocket, AeroStitch etc. are acceptable in the Novice and Intermediate Group only provided they are either one piece or zip together with at least 50zipper contact with reinforced and padded shoulders, elbows, hips, and knee areas. No chaps.

Advanced and Intermediate group riders MUST WEAR A BACK PROTECTOR.

Soft back pads sewn into suits are not enough. We sell Bohn back protectors at special STT member discounts. We can arrange to deliver your new back protector to you the day of your event or ship it to you home. We will have a limited number (6-10 per event) of back protectors for rent. No back protector = no track time!

    Cancellations

Refunds will be given only if a cancellation request is received 31 days or more in advance, in writing (email, fax or letter). If you paid via credit card we will deduct a 15 percent processing fee from your refund amount. Cancellations made between 30 and 15 days prior to an event will be granted credit for another track date useable within 1 year from the date of the event (credits can only be transfered one time). No cancellations will be accepted 14 days or less prior to an event. If you want to change your track day to another track day prior to the date of your scheduled track day there is a $50 administrative fee for this track day change. You may not reschedule within 14 days on an event. Sessions will be held rain or shine.

  15. I'm down for this also. From looking at prices earlier this year, this might help some people figure out if they can go. Though, I'm sure prices are subject to change for next year.

    1 Day event - $195

2 Day event - $375 Must book 2 day event on same order to qualify for 2 day discount.

If this appears to be moving forward next year, we could also have people post on where they think their experiance level will be for riding (novice, experianced, advanced)so they know who they will be riding around/know.

  16. I'm guessing that its right. If you blew a large amount of dust out, from experiance I guarantee theres still as much but thicker in it. I pull my heatsink and video card out of my desktop every few months and blow/clean them with a soft brush. You can blow out loose dust, but over time I actually gets thick, immobile and plugs the side which prevents cooling. (like a plugged air filter). Its up to you on what to do, but getting a good clean and fan would be my suggestion. Cleaning and leaving a old fan with bad bearings is just asking for it to stop and cook everything. Fans are cheap!

And temp sensors are typically in the motherboard where the cu drops in, or spaced between the heatsink and cpu. If its the first going bad, then a new motherboard would be in order and your price starts to rise dramaticlly. Otherwise, it would be less expensive.

  17. +1 ^

If it was a desktop I could do it for you in a few minutes, but I don't mess with laptops. Thermal paste is only used as a space filler between the cpu core and the heatsink to transfer as much into the heatsink as possible. (more contact, more transfer). I build PC's all the time, but I'd take it to someone that works on them and its and easy fix. Go with what Satan says unless you are 100% confident you know what you are doing.
