  1. 10,000 out of work comedians and Nick is tryin to be funny...
  2. last summer, an '06 FJAXWQULERGGHYQZ Electra-glide, $20k+ bike. Shook like a paint shaker at low RPMs, with rubber mounts. Twin cam engine. once you got it up to speed it smoothed out, but was a bear to maneuver, and heavy ass sum' beech too, My 'busa now, and then my GSXR 750 were/are SOLID mount I4's that use the engine as part of the frame, and they're smooth as silk at all speeds. Not to mention the seating position is scary as fuck, I felt like I was sitting in a recliner, no way to drive a motorcycle. Sportbikes are ergonomic and what a bike should feel like, you feel like your in control, your involved in the bike, not sitting on it hoping to stay along for the ride, not to mention I've got problems with some discs in my neck, and after a few miles sitting straight up and down bouncing on my spine, I was in serious pain. Sport bikes put your weight on your feet where it should be, or if it's long ass rides, you can lay on the tank. Typical Harley, only 20 or so years behind the Jap bikes, I still don't understand the point of the Twin cam. Its not like they eliminated anything, hell all they did was add another cam, second cam gear/sprocket, extra timing chain, and double the rotating mass of the valve train. it's not like they went with DOHC or 4 valves per cylinder, they added another cam, and shortened the pushrods, whooptie. awesome, I'm glad you like it, I just don't see how someone can aspire to spend 2x the money on half the bike. HD should have been out of biz years ago, but T-shirt sales are still going strong
  3. no, no, they exist, I've seen them before, LPSanders had one on her bike, and several people on the rides I've been on had them, I think maybe their only for the Columbus Elite.
  4. Thats kinda the idea there jackass needed to know who to talk to, I kinda figured it was Satan but who the hell knows with this place Oh yeah, you bringing that sled to the track rental? I wanna race it
  5. About getting some Ohio-Riders.net steekers for the new ride? *crickets*
  6. seriously? and what are you driving that only gets 35mpg? gotta be an air-cooled V twin? Abusing the piss out of my GSXR750 I still got 43mpg, over 50 if it was nice to it, usually on long trips, such as when I went to Columbus.
  7. N/M I re-read my post it's only $645, not $845, I fucked up when I posted it
  8. No, Sorry, don't get your hopes up man
  9. sweet, as long as it's not raining, and I don't get shipped out of town, I'll be there
  10. Couldn't have said it better myself
  11. Maybe Cooper is the company that makes them out of Copper? interesting
  12. awesome! Good to here man! Oh P.S., I need a rear seat and grab bar, I just picked up an 04 'Busa and it didn't come with them, only the solo cowl. If you've got them and would like to get rid of them let me know, the woman ain't too happy she's got nowhere to sit LOL
  13. lol whats a Harley girl got between her nipples that a Sportbike girl doesn't... Her belly button
  14. damn dude, hope your okay, and that everything works out for you.
  15. I will get pix up as soon as I pick it up! Thats kinda why I went with the bigbore, The woman and I want to take a ride down to VA beach, maybe Florida, and I'm in C-bus a shit ton as well (a 3 hour drive), and the added comfort was well worth the handling sacrifice. That and just the physical size of it made it SOOO much more comfortable to me, I was sold as soon as I threw my leg over it!
  16. thanks for the offer man, but not really a fan of the red, and I think this is an 05 the more I read about it, says the 'Flash to Pass' option started in 05, and this bike def has it.
  17. Well since the last post went to Hell in a hand basket, I've started a second one! My, arn't I resourceful. Here she is! signing the papers tomorrow, left a deposit, just wanted to sleep on it a night or two. I'm gonna get it don't know why I didn't just bring her home, wanted to find out if there's anything horrible about the 04 'Busa's I should know before I signed any papers. So without further a'due, here's Suzie; Of course those were quickies shot with my phone, when I bring her home I'll post up some good shots the bike is incredible, 5k miles, I thought it was an 07 when I looked at it it's so damn clean. there's a TINY scratch on the top of the rear seat cover, thats it. other than that the bike is 100% stock, down to the tires. It's so clean I can't begin to describe it. Oh well, off to bed, I'll see you all in the morning

    new bike

Well, I know it's not going to handle like a 600 and I'm not looking for it too. most of my riding is long distance and mild twisties. I'll never hang with the front runners on the C-bus, Zainsville ride, and I'm fine with that. I'm also 6'2" and 250 lbs and the physical size of the bike is whats appealing to me, I know a 1k can be made faster, and a 600 is quicker through the Twisties, and I like the corners, but it's not all I live to do, I do go to the track allot though, and I guess some of it is the rep of the 'Busa as well. oh well, going to go look at them tonight, my friend says there's a black 'busa, silver flames, polished frame, extended/polished swing arm, says EVERYTHING is polished/chrome lol I'm actually kinda interested in seeing it.

    Land Rovers

wow, anyone read that list? HELLO CAPT OBVIOUS! a Jeep Wrangler doesn't ride like a $400k dollar lexus? no shit?! A Hummer gives poor gas milage? really you don't say, oh and it lack in acceleration? wow, I'm amazed! An Aveo got poor accleeration reviews? What morons, that list should read "11 cars and their obvious-as-the-nose-on-your-face quirks". I ignore all "poor fit and finish" reviews on the interiors, these magazine editors expect every car to have $4 million hand-built Maybach quality interior. If I'm interested in something I'll go look at it, and check the internet for quality reviews from actual owners. Mags are so full of BS it's amazing
