  1. What the FOOK?!?!? Too much for the painted stuff. Good deal on the painting - I just don't have that money right now. Floundeypoo - BUY A SET!!! Don't wait for me. These are good deals and I want a set because I am a junkie. However, I want a new bike, too so....
  2. Wow... Changing the plugs and adjusting the valves "while in there" isn't quite the same. Changing the plugs is VERY easy to do and will only help in selling the bike. Adjusting the valves is certainly easy if you know how, but VERY time consuming... You can't do it like you can change the plugs and oil and filter. All can be done in a fraction of the time adjusting the valves takes... If I showed up wanting to buy and the thing didn't start due to fouled plugs... No sale.
  3. Non of the SHIFT street jackets for women have a zipper for pants. You'd have to buy a smaller sized men's to get that - for track day goers, etc...
  4. Here's a link to more info on teh suit and a size chart. I am 6'1" and wear a 44/54 or L/XL SR-1 Road Race suit. The Vantage suit is a size smaller... 42/52 LG... http://shop.shiftracing.com/ecomm/ProductForward.do?forward=product.pagedef&proId=14002&cid=255&cname=Suits&proNumber=70081&imgName=70081001F.jpg
  5. Huh? It is a size smaller than what I wear. It's for a 5'10" - 6' tall person... Wouldn't you wear a 42/52???
  6. Photoshop.... Nice try, though. Can you imagine when the guy would apply throttle and those big gripping tires put the power down? Can you say "No steer with the rear"...
  7. I'd cut it off on the outlet end so the Muzzy badge is more towards the end instead of where I have it placed. If you are going to mount off teh rear sets, that is... Band clamp won't cover it that way... Remember, style points. Doing something right means it has to look good, too!
  8. I'd sell my damaged OPP set and buy whatever set you don't want. You obviously get first crack. Depending on what Toddster says, I might be interested. MIGHT.... My OPP stuff has been repaired and functions. Needs painted, but new vs. damage and repaired always wins out for a buyer... Same color because I like the blue/black combo... I'd probably have him match the blue I have the second tank painted... Why you ask, grasshopper? Why don't you just sell that pile of yours and buy my complete set-up? Dude, it rips and with all the spares, you'd never be out. You could sell yours with these Hotbodies or the spare OPP stuff painted flat black for $4500-5000 as a track only. Keep the stock bodywork and use it on my 750. Win, win, beotch!!!

  10. Just make sure guys you make note of the baffle inside. Cutting the cannister right off and not measuring the amount needed to go inside the end cap can result in a too short inner baffle and the cannister would need a little more cut off...
  11. You are right about the power - I was refering to the fact that robbing power from a bike like that hurts a BUNCH. That big of a mid-pipe (Length needed for that bend) is going to rob the mid range a TON and effect top end. I like the last shot with the angle up - not as severe, obviously. Have the cannister sut shorter, as well. Shorty cans are fine and do not rob HP as long as you have them packed well. I run a shorty Arrow and Ti-Force can. No loss of HP...
  12. How much for the tail being black with white number plates, Upper in the Suzuki Blue of that year with black up on the top with white number plates and a black lower? Basically, like this but the tail is black as opposed to the blue shown:
  13. Now, if he can get it painted and offer a deal alongside, I'd be interested and sell off the OPP stuff I have.... Hmmm...
  14. The decrease in power isn't worth it. You can get a steeper angle than currently and have no reall effect, but lengthening the mid-pipe is a non, no. Especially on a bike like you have when every little bits helps or hurts...
  15. Todd - Ol' Flounder is interested. He's a stand up guy and won't BS you around. I'm interested, but I am trying to get another bike so, they don't really fit into the "need" category. Keep me posted...
  16. RIIIIIIIIIIGHT.... Hopper's cool and I was just bashing him like I like to do to his sister Flounder, but seriously, he's getting better, but he ain't where he needs to be as far as bikes are concerned. He made a sideways move for more money. I'd like to see him on a Duc or a Honda and showcase his real ability... But, money makes the world go round and therefore a big factor in swaying one's thoughts. Flounder, where did you find the pics?
  17. Waste of money. Jet the bike and get the needle correct and you can gain as much. 2 strokes are really more prone to power gains from fresh plugs, good reeds, good jetting and carb set-up, good oil, messing with oil/fuel mixtures, and engine builds (i.e. cylinder work, etc..) Electronic gizmos ain't going to give you shit. Maybe a scotch better response, but it will be mentally faster than actually faster...
  18. New and not painted? $450 for it all?? I am probably interested. Aren't you wanting to keep it for track day use?
  19. :D:D Dude, your avatar makes me laugh every time. Fuckin' great stuff... You are going to have a tough time topping that one.
  20. I'd say unless JohnnyMac does the same thing another buyer did, it is sold. If they need to lock her down, cool. I understand... Afterall, another thread was started per the topic currently....
  21. The second pic is cool - if you remove that second set of mirrors, it looks like you are two up. Well, maybe one driving and the other catching...
  22. Ok, Repsol jacket looks to be sold so, after I confirm and post to have it locked, our discussion of Flounder and ShittyGSXR will cease to exist. We can't have that. Let the mud slingin' begin...
