Unfortunately, no... Look at Chris, Yota and Flouder. All under the same tent and all wearing full leather. You're doomed if you are caught hanging around with them... The Gay trio can easily become the Quartet of Man Love... -

Flounder, Flounder, Flounder.... You understand that Monte is a HUGE practical joker and if he gets wind of you trying to "get me", I can do things at the track that make your possibilites look like kid's play. MMMMMMMWHAHHHHAAAAAAA.... (That's an evil laugh, by the way.) *** First of all, this is all a joke for the passerby who reads this and thinks we all hate each other. *** :D:D:D:D:D:D:D -

Don't you need to be able to catch someone to do something to them? I know, I know!!!! - you can leave your mirrors on and paint little silhouettes of me on the mirrors. That way, you can feel like you are in front of me. Hell, we will even make a set with Chris on there for you. DOH!!!! (That's like the equivalent of getting punted in the bunny nuggets over the internet...) -

How is it that Flounder and ChrisOH always end up turning my F/S threads into gay love threads? That's really weird... Junk, Gay, love, strange man fluids... It all adds up to some whacky stuff. You guys could role play. Flouder can dress up like a CBR1000 or an RV212 and Chris could BUY MY JACKET AND GLOVES and ride on Flouder's back at a hotel somewhere. "Look Ma... I'm Nicky!!!!!" BUY MY STUFF! -

I know you said you aren't messing with any wheels, but can you do 16" truck rims? I have a set of chrome wheels for my dually I need stripped and I would like them PCed satin black or similar. I don't suspect you can get that chrome off and I'd have to send them to someone, but any ideas? Wheels would be easy as they aren't including bearings and such like the motorcycle wheels.... -

Come on, guys. I got boned by a supposedly solid buyer and lost three weeks worth of possible buyers. $250 for just the jacket is a STEAL as they are over $400 new. Throwing the gloves in for $50 more is a damn deal. Come on, folks. Xmas is coming fast and would make any Honda guy/gal proud!! -

Back from the dead. Buyer stiffed me for over 3 weeks so, back here. I can get this to a buyer before Xmas. I am in Ohio and can meet or get it sent out as soon as funds are sent. -
Cool car for sure, but regarding the bike, that's pretty close to the price of a brand new one with zero miles and warranty. Actually, you can bag a used 07 R6 (non-S) for just a hair more. I know that Yamaha is offering some incentives and you can get a new R model for about $8k if you look.... Not busting balls, but seeing you apprently are well to do, you can stand to drop the price a hair - especially this time of year...
-
Lotsa guys asking questions, but no buyers yet. I know this is a shit time of year to sell, but I'm not hurting to hold onto it. Daddy just wants a new ride and needs to sell ol' girl here to do so or the real girl at home will kill me.... So, BUMP!!

SOLD!!! See edited first post!

Was always sponsored by Pirelli and still have a great standing with Moose... Hence, the Pirellis. Even have some slicks that are brand new still... I run Michelins and have set the bike up for Michelins because I instruct with STT. I just wanted to support Monte since he supports us. Great tires. A bit tougher to set-up than the Pirellis, but this bike seems well on it's way to being as close as I can get her. Probably a bit of fine tuning left, but needs to be a race weekend to finish the details... Hopefully, goes to a good home. Quite a few Ohio riders from other boards asking about it...

How's $7200 for the bike with a spare set of wheels with OEM rotors and I'll sell the spares on Ebay or part the spares out? $7200 includes: -OEM front and rear wheels with rotors (OEM) and cush drive -Select gearing -OEM Service Manual -Used but great condition Pirelli Rains. Spares will be sold separately once bike is confirmed sold...

i'd have to check online with what we typically use to repack, but the fourstroke stuff from FMF should be plenty good enough. Iron Pony has some of the stuff we used to use - I think it states on there specifically for four strokes. I'd buy two packs and get them wound as tight as I could and tape them so you can get it into the cannister housing. The outside tape won't burn too much as it is protected by the packing. But, if it does, it isn't going anywhere. Buddies who follow you will swear you are burning coolant. The smell is VERY similar, but the new packing will give off a scent for a while that will eventually go away. Even a little smoke here and there....
-
WHOA!!! You NEED to use proper 4 stroke packing. You need to wrap it in multiple thick layers and as tight as you can get it. Less packing, more noise and back pressure issues. Dude, packing is stupid cheap. Wrap it tight, use some tape to secure it in the wrapped position and stick it in there. The way you are doing it, it isn't good and you are essentially wasting your time and hurting your bike in the long run...

2002 Triumph Daytona 955i Turbo - Lockhart Phillips Project Bike
Moto-Brian replied to Casper's topic in Daily Ride
7 lbs equates to about 1hp. So, with that weight difference (I am sure the weight is claimed as dry), it is almost another 3 hp loss. So, it is at 187... $25k at 187hp is shit. Again, Superstock GSXR1000 is about 185ish... Well, that is the limit Suzuki imposes for the Cup races... -

Hell, a Superstock built 2007/08 GSXR 1000 WITHOUT a turbo is at 180-185 at the wheels. Plus, it isn't a pile of shit like the 955. It would take far less money and you could use that spare cash to gamble titles with!! Pice of shit and the paint job looks even better:rolleyes: -
Throw in a power band and you're in business...!!!

Ok, relisted of sorts. I got a brand new cable from AIM and it is actually longer (preferred) and the burned one is still included as a spare. It works 100% and is a great idea to keep in case a crash rips the cable (common)... Anyways, back up top. FRESH!! Again, NO BEACON UNIT. Not needed. 50 guys show to the track with beacons and only one can be used. Not a necessity...

Ok, weird MySpace question - 30 plus year olds....

Gotcha. No need to get pissed. Smiley face was included... yikes. -
I thought it was just the rotors? Might be wrong. I'm old, remember...? Yeah, sounded ghey, but I am used to it by now. I can honestly say that I know gay people when it comes up in a conversation and say they really don't look normal like the rest of us.

What was that about patience? Hold tight my student. Keep doing the wax on, wax off and we'll see where you are at a little later. Nah, really, I need to try and sell the bike by itself first before I pick out the stuff people want. I have a guy who offered me $7500 for it all and I told him no deal. I also have a guy who wants just the bike, but he's a lowballer. Time, guys. Time.... It ain't going anywhere and IF I don't sell her, I'm running her one more season so, I'll need the stuff.... What gearing are you looking for? I might have enough spare sprockets to hook ya up... Bodywork has to wait. I might have another upper and lower - I'll have to look in the shed and see. I can't remember if I still have it or not...
