  1. You don't need a CCW or other permit to shoot a pistol there? That's kinda weird, no?
  2. I was up off 229 Saturday morning hunting Pheasant. Saw the riffle/shotgun range. Don't you need a permit to shoot a pistol in a a place like that? Or, is there an indoor range I am not aware of...?
  3. Oh, I'll sell the spares - as long as the bike sells first. If it does, game on. You can always use spares....
  4. If I can get the money I want out of just the bike, I'll do something with the spares... Until then... What are you needing? I have more than what is listed...
  5. Yeh, thought about it, but not real fond of the 1000s. I really am partial to the 750 - especially built ones. They are like FX 600s and handle easier than 1000s. i like the 1000s - don't get me wrong, but they tend to ride you more than you ride them and even if I was worthy, I'd be a worn out old guy at the end of the year. They take so damn much mental and physical ability... We'll see... I thought to call down there. I saw they had their's for sale...
  6. Yeah, actually. My days of building from scratch are over. I can buy a Vesrah bike from Mark and it would be already set-up. Was looking at Jensen's 07, too... I have actually only done this current one as my first already prepped machine. It was a good deal and it has been very solid. Reuben builds good stuff for sure and I know Mark's personal 750 is damn good, as well. From what I know of Robert, he rarely ran the 750 - usually practiced on the 600 and 1000 and only ran the 750 for the race. We'll see.... May hold on to ol' Blue a while longer. Just if it is possible, I'll send her off...
  7. Yeah, Northwest's sales department blows. None of the guys really know anything unfortunately. They're simply salesmen. The service guys seem good. I'll try and get the name of the one guy I used to hang out with and talk to there. He seems to know a few things and is kinda old school. Watch the newbies with the MMI certs. They ain't always the best even though a document says otherwise... At our shop, we had a young gun come out of MMI and we replaced him within 6 months. He needed more guidance and we essentially were paying two techs to work on one bike... Anyways, again, I think find some buds you know you trust, learn the mechanics of your bike no matter what you own and ask them what they think and check the shops out. Ask questions. If you ask detailed questions, they will respect you more, know you know what is the basic deal with whatever service you need done and will do it right knowing you'll probably catch it if it isn't... Wait, that's probably too utopia-like....
  8. Ahhhh.... What do you know about built motors anyways...:D:D:D Find me a 2007 GSXR 750. Now. (The one I had a line on has been sold)

  10. I am more than willing any time. I need to really learn this thing. Where do you usually go? Weird... Wheels, personal attacks, guns, poop... What more do we need, right? All in one thread...
  11. Do you wear the vest to bed? Grenades under the pillow? Are you the real Punisher???
  12. Yeah, forgot those guys. Can't remember the guy in service, but he is a pretty cool dude. Knows a few things. Tom at parts is pretty knowledgeable, too. Good call on that one. Sorry Northwest crew!!!
  13. Yeah, I have an XD, as well. Do you have the girlie sub compact in the first pic? When you grow up, maybe you can fire my 45... I really like the XD series. However, I lock it and have it in the safe with the other gun related stuff. Honestly, if someone came into the house as an intruder, I have a nice gift for them. If they show up on the door step and threaten, it has to be physical so... We're a small farm town so, I don't worry a whole lot as my neighbors are pretty damn nosey. Too nosey - they annoy me at times. Back to the XD. You have a light/laser combo? Was looking at them, but wanted to hear from someone who has had one on their XD first....
  14. Good enough, I guess. I will say that if a person gets pissed off enough from a public forum to show up at my door step with intent to hurt, I won't walk away. I know a few tricks you could say and I may get my ass beat, but both of us are going to bleed. Guarantee that. I am willing to give it a shot. If we do bicker a bit, no personal shit, cool? Bickering is healthy. Personal info and family related jabs aren't... Sorry you cannot look at things with a more open mind like Todd and I did. Oh, well. I have a great network of friends as I am sure you do, as well. Cheers.
  15. No sarcasm intended. I'm serious when it comes to my family and stuff. You should know that from how I get when it is brought up. I can walk away from it as long as you can promise to drop everything other than Brian. Everything else is off limits - family, kids, personal info. Fair enough? If you don't want to try and get along. Again, fine by me. Let's just keep it within some boundaries.
  16. Gotcha. I will be driving it year round. Although not much in the winter - only really when we drive for indoor riding, etc. But, it will see salt so, that's why I like the powder coated look and the polished as opposed to chromed...
  17. Huh? I thought you asked me to post what it was for....???
  18. I know, I pussied out... Anyways, it is for a 2000 Ford F350 Super Duty Dually. The wheels are 16", but not sure on the offset. I'd have to check, I suspect. I know KMC has a flat black XD775 Rockstar I was looking at and the Moto Metals were the MO953s polished. I have chrome now and it has pitted and is crap right now. So... let me know, man. I appreciate it!
  19. Alright. You win, Tom. I'm done with this personal info shit and the fact that you actually check up on me, my family, where I live, etc. I don't know how or where you get my info w/o actually TRYING to dig it up. I know I could do it as easily since we know your name and all. But, I don't. Why? I don't want it done to me. You and I can battle royal all you want. We can argue, bitch, whine, bash, whatever. I am willing to apologize about your kids and the comments about stalker, creepy, basement stuff, etc. My opinion of your kids on Myspace is an opinion. My wife is a teacher and she worries all the time over the young kids with Myspace pages and what people are on there looking for them. Age has no boundaries. Look... I am sure you are a good parent. You made a decision to place your kids within the world of the internet. I am sure you are a protective and knowledged parent and worry and concern yourself with everything they do. We do, as well. I'm a little bit sharp edged over the topic because I am worried about freaks and weirdos. It concerns me that someone can get all this personal info about me, my family and son. What bothers me more is when people try and find stuff. They make an effort. It's one thing when my name is on Google for racing, for sponsor sites, etc. They are out there. I understand that. But, my child doesn't need to be brought into this conversation or any other. I've tried to mend the fence between us, but you declined and chose not to. Your choice. That's fine. Hell, Todd#43 and I were at each other's throats on a scale beyond what you and I were/are. We are now to the point that I'd consider Todd a friend and hope to meet him at a few venues in the future. However, it isn't to be unless you wish it to be for us. Many people on this board know me. Have met me. Have been around me. All can attest that I am not a bad guy. I'm not going to start a fight with anyone. I do my own thing, run my own program and move along. If you choose to approach me and make a scene about our internet happenings, I'd probably be fine. I'd most likely just walk away and tell you to leave me alone. Pushing further will net different results, but that's anyone. If we were at the same venue and it was known you were there, I'd just avoid you. I don't need to have any conflict. It doesn't ever end the way anyone hopes. Hell, you'd probably beat my ass. I'm a pussy to be honest. BUT, if you keep up with the family stuff and my kid and referencing anything outside only me, we will have some issues. It doesn't have to be that way, of course so, your call. I'm Brian. You're Tom. That's where it ends, cool? You and your family do what you feel is right. There isn't a magic book that explains perfect parenting. I am sure I could easily do the same research into you and find where you live, etc. I only know your kids are on Myspace from what others have stated and what you replied to. I wouldn't have even really known what you looked like until that thread. I don't go and look for it. Just quit with the personal stuff. I know it is on the internet. I know I have a pic of my son as an avatar on a site, but it isn't connected with his full name, our address, our personal info like numbers, etc. You'd have to connect all the dots. If it is easy, fine. But, it is a bit of work that someone has to do. Doing it on purpose is a worry to me. It means you are focused on me and my family and I get a little upset. From here on out, you'll be Tom to me. No nicknames like Speed, etc. Just Tom. You can call me what you want and spell it anyway you want, but just go with me and me alone. My family is left out. Fair?
  20. People you personally know who have their service done by others. That's a good place to start. However, that said, you owe it to yourself to become rather educated on the mechanics and what is needed and how it is done on your own. That way, you can either do it yourself (my choice) or when you take it in, you know what really needs done and what it will take. Buy a service manual (a factory one - not a Chilton replica) and look over it in detail. Understand what loose valve numbers do as opposed to tighter clearances, etc. You get the point. If you just want to know a place to have it done, Mid-Ohio in Mount Vernon used to be pretty good. They have some decent service techs. Otherwise, no place in Columbus is referred to from what I ever hear. Especially street bikes. I hear a lot about the guys in Heath. They are drag race based, but they seemingly know what to do. I'd start there or at Mid-Ohio...
  21. Dude, I've tried and tried to have you point out a link. Do it via PM and let me see. I don't know where I have ever posted a picture with his full name and info, but I might be wrong. bling bling, huh? Yeah, I guess aftermarket wheels are bling bling. Oh, well.... Need 'em so...
  22. Whoa, you must have a date with a MySpace friend, huh? You're too anxious and are not making any sense here... The use of grammar and sentence structure have never been your strong point so, I'll go easy... You stated the rider was riding fairly passive. You then used a period. Next, your comment was "Probably not Chris, huh?" No smiley, nothing to imply you were joking, etc. Next, you TRY and slam me with the above response. However, I am not sure what 3rd typing skills are. Are those level 3 typing skills? The 3rd class of typing you made it through? What? I'm just wondering where we lost you. Chris's bike has always been a badass blue and orange. If you'd go and stalk Chris and dig up all his personal info like you've done with me, you'd have known that from one, the other threads - even LR and two, probably because you would have found some photos somehow, somewhere... Just take a break from stalking me and a few others (Kurtis comes to mind) and you'll be able to answer your own questions and save us all a bunch of time. Gotta go finish cleaning the air filter. Oh, I mean, gotta go fix the bling bling daddy stuff on the wittle motorsickle. Bye, bye Smookums...
  23. Dude, my son doesn't need to be any part of any BS you want to have with me. I'm Brian and that's all you need to use. You can spell it any way you want, whatever. Keep my kid, family, and other personal info to yourself. Knock it off.
  24. Dude, why are you so infatuated with such things? I'm a little worried... I won't bend over to get into my suit at the track anymore!
  25. Hmmmm.... It sounded as if: "In fact, it was riding fairly passive. Probably not Chris, eh?" implying he doesn't ride passively. I know, you forgot the , right?
