Take some pics when you have it apart, if you don't mind. I have never worked on or seen these worked on. So I'm kinda curious. I probably wont do much to the ones I get this year. Are they fairly basic to work on as far as the actual work, and just hard because of the limited space? Or?

The guys that did my boat went out of business. They did really good work for a awesome price. Figures...

Wanted to say thanks to ALL the IPS crew. I took them my wife's X5 for some work. MAG wanted almost $3000 to do the work. MAG was always pretty good to me in the past, but I thought this was excessive. So I called up Brandon and took it on over. I worked with Mike during the actual repairs process. I supplied the parts (BMW parts from MAG) and after all was said and done I had all the work completed for a third of what MAG wanted, including the parts cost. They kept it a extra day too to make sure the elusive problem had been cured.

They replaced:

Cyclone valve and all hoses

Valve Cover

Coolant Reservoir/Expansion Tank

Oil Change

I could not be happier with the thoroughness of the repairs, communication during the process, and of course the pricing. I'm not sure who it was that did the work, but please express my gratitude.

Is the interior complete?

It is 100% complete. Like I said though, some of the vinyl needs re-wrapped. Still strong and sturdy underneath, just worn.

I will probably go and get it out of storage next week sometime. I will see about getting more interior pics.

Trade for my xl1200 three seater wave runner. Runs amazing 58 on gps an is very gas friendly.

 

Big enough to ski wakeboard an tube off of but very manuverable

Have a cover?

It does have a cover, but it is a cheepo. It does keep the water out and debris, but not good for trailering (has a tie down kit, but I wouldn't trust it).

where's all the seats? do you have to sit on a lawn chair to drive it?

LOL the pics were from before I put the new back to back seats in. When I got it, the previous owner had replaced the old floor with new and did not get around to replacing the seats. I got some for it after I bought it. These are the seats that are in it now.

Sounds fun as hell though.

I would recommend getting something a bit newer, those skis will have a top speed of about 35mph and in rought water will be all over the place. I would look at a Yamaha GP1200, GP800, Kawasaki 15f, Ultra 150 or SeaDoo GTX. There is an aftermarket for all of those ski and they will all do 55+ stock.

 

If you can't find the model you are looking at here, then there's not really any aftermarket support.

I thought about newer, I just don't really want to put money into buying the newer ones until I see if I will even keep them around. From what I have read online, they should run around 50. The guy I am getting them from said he can get them to 60....35 is definitely slower then I want. I will look around some more then....

What skis are you looking at?

They are 2 Yamaha Waveraider RA700T. I'm not looking to make them crazy or anything, just bump up whats there. I just want something reliable to have some fun with. I have the Formula for the speed. Just want something to supplement some water fun.

I may be picking up a pair in a few weeks. I may have to pick your brain. They aren't turbo'd though, just N/A.

I'm not a steak expert by any means but I've eaten at almost all of these places so I'll weigh in:

 

Ruth's Chris: Very good steaks, horrible atmosphere. They cram you in and its so dark you can't see the cans on the date of the guy 2 feet away from you.

I don't think its too crowded though. Maybe it's just me. The lighting is dead on though. Drives me nuts. There's "setting a mood" then there's accidentally replacing all the bulbs with 4 watt bulbs. Wayy too dark.

For $30 and a beer I'll cook you the best kick ass porterhouse or ribeye in the neighborhood.

 

I can wait for slightly warmer weather so I can get my pansy ass outside to grill one up.

You better hope I don't smell that at my house. I will absolutely come running over!

As for the best steak in Columbus, I have searched a long time for this. The best I have had is at Ruths Chris. It is called the Porterhouse for 2. It is like 40-50 ounces of pure awesomeness. You will pay for it, it is like 90 dollars. If you consider it is 2 steaks in one though, that makes it 45 per. The extra money over regular is WAY worth it.

I usually have it a couple times a year, and I turn it into the Porterhouse for 1.
