Mine is a 2002 Wrangler 6 cyl automatic and I get about 13-15 mpg, which sucks, but what do you expect when you have the aerodynamics of a box

It seems that more often than not the Harley guys don't wave. I ride with a group of 3-5 of my good friends quite often that all ride Harleys and we have passed other H-D riders who waved to my boys, but made a point to put their hand down as I passed. Sillyness I tell ya

I've had two claims with state farm, one motorcycle and one car, and I can say their customer service was second to none. Mine were both relatively small claims and were handled both very professionally and quickly. One of my buddy's has also had a couple claims with state farm (much larger claims) and he has nothing but positive things to say also.

Are you seriously offended by my avatar?? First of all, it's not even me, I found the picture on the web awhile back. And second, who cares?? We all like what we like and ride what we ride. Most of my best friends, who I do ride with, are Harley guys. I happen to ride metric as well as work for a metric dealer. I don't like Harley's, never have, just my opinion and I can express it however I like, just as you can express yours. Anyway, welcome to the board and sorry to hear that you ride a sporty:D j/k

I have to disagree with progressive being "great". They are convenient, that's about it. Ever had to file a claim? I doubt you would be praising them if you had. Their claims examiners get paid a commision for parts they can get you to take off the original estimate once they look at your bike. I've had progressive in the past and have filed a claim with both them and state farm, state farm was SO much better to deal with.

Unless they changed their rules, I don't think that's true. I've been with State Farm since I was 25 and at the time I had only had my motorcycle license for about 2 years. Also, they just insured my buddy last year when he bought my 600RR and he's 27 and didn't even have his endorsement at the time.

State Farm is by far the cheapest for sportbikes. They go by CC's only, no matter what type of bike it is. I'm a 33 yr old male with a few points on my license as well as a crash awhile back and I pay $531 on my 2008 FZ1. I was only paying $440 a year on my 2006 CBR1000RR

Yeah, and I read in another article that the kid just bought this Ninja 250 and was new to motorcycling. So I'm sure he was proud as shit of his new bike and would certainly not intentionally do something that could potentially cause damage to it.

2006 CBR1000RR. Just traded this for the FZ1 2003 Vulcan 800 2004 CRF450 2004 V-Star 1100 Classic Silverado 2002 ZX6R Was red, crashed it, put it back to stock, Urban painted it, sold it. One of my KLX110's. Not sure what year cuz I had 3 of them There's been several more, I just don't have (can't find) pictures
