Wow! Sucks to be him! That was one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. However, it was entertaining.

Like I said, depends on the ins. company. I've bought a couple salvage bikes from State Farm and Allstate and they were always 20%. It's been a couple years though... I've heard of others getting bids from salvage companies first.

Depends on the insurance company, but most of them sell totalled vehicles for 20% of the current NADA retail value.

One of the guys I work with was down that way yesterday and passed the scene just after it happened. He said the bike (some sort of cruiser) was destroyed. There were pieces and parts everywhere. He saw the guy laying on the ground before the paramedics got there. He did not have a helmet on and he didn't see one in sight. Sucks, hate to hear this shit.

Yeah, worthington cops really have nothing better to do. I got nailed twice in the same week a couple years ago for not having a front plate on my corvette.
