  1. I sold my old Skool HD Road King! Check this bad boy out! 2500 miles, new Shinko 705's, SW-Motech Skid plate and engine guards. I now have to speak English, not 'merican. I've never owned a Brit bike before, but seems pretty straight forward so far. Tank bag on order, hooking up the Gerbing harness and Ram mount tonight. Looking for opinions on panniers/bags. 2. Hi, As a motorcyclist, I love motorcycle movies and I started watching my recorded shows last night. I think the Discovery mini-series is pretty good as entertainment, and made awesome due to the subject matter. It is kind of cool to here about the early marketing, racing and ideas that made the H-D a world wide brand. Pretty damn cool!
  3. Sounds fun B-Mac, I will be at Logan football game as chaperone for visitors Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. Windham Arms is a great company, 16 inch barrel, very nice Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I've been riding there for over 25 years and have never had a problem. That being said, I also don't leave anything to chance or in a position to be tempting. My friend has had that problem on the Hatfield-McCoy, but his dumb ass Bro-in-Law left a flip phone plugged in and glowing
  7. Stay on Dorr Run Loop, Main Corridor and those lower rated trails and you will be fine even wi dual sport tires unless it rains. Plenty of mileage, and once you get settled you can run up toward New Straitsville. Plenty of roads to cut off onto so you can ride around. Stay off Long Ridge and poorly marked or Enduro marked trails. Remember to get a pass Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. If it was a cash transaction and no checks or other receipts, it is the responsibility of the buyer to pay the taxes (and they basically have no proof). They are trying to do an end run to get the buyer to pay more. If the number put on the title matched the sale, no issues. Mostly, they are fishing.
  9. I've been using Evo2 with great success for over two years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. How much are the taxes on the points?

  12. Nice carb from 2008 Kawasaki KLX 450 with cables and TPS plug. No known problems, no corrosion or plugged jets.$140 CBus area Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. I've changed plenty of tires (just did 4 of them, three with the Tubliss system) but just don't have the adequate barge lifting and holding capacity needed for the HD. Glad your mom likes it Jacob. I'm hoping to get into the woods next week and ride.
  14. Does anyone have a recommendation for a business that changes tires you bring in/ride in with in or near Columbus? I'm not really looking forward to changing my own tires on the HD Road King, and I want specific tires that would most likely have to be ordered anyway. If necessary, I may remove the wheels myself, but it would require either borrowing some tools/equipment (jacks) or buying them. I'm planning on going to Metzler ME888's front and rear. I'm tired of cleaning whitewalls and really disgusted with the low mileage of the Dunlop (2nd one, less than 9k miles, mostly solo riding with no extra weight and weird handling). Any size recommendations for sizes? The standard sizes are MT90B16. The current front tire is a 130/90x16 Shinko (I actually like it, it has worn well, looks good, doesn't show wear at 14k), so the tire profile I am used to is that size. The bike is a 2003 model, 16" front and rear. I can order a set online for about $250. Why pay more if you don't have to? Has anyone used the Mobile Motorcycle Tire business advertised on craigslist that comes to you?
  15. I have a new knobby for sale. Still has tags, not needed for project anymore. $30, you pick up in NW Columbus area (near zoo). Intermediate terrain Dunlop 18" tire, brand new.

  18. The finished product! I just need to put on the new tires, and ready to roll!
  19. I would love to, but the boss is in town that day.
  20. The process is moving along. The dual sport kit is installed except for the brake light switch. Everything works great. I also installed the lift straps while it was apart. Next on the list is setting up the controls, handguards and replacing the tank with the IMS tank. Then it just needs an oil change, tire and ridden!
  21. I got the profile straightened out. All the rest will be on SFDemo
  22. I'm not able to ride this weekend unfortunately, but if you go to Wayne, you won't lack in company. Opening weekend and nice weather, it would be a good place to try out a new ride, and then move to harder trails if you feel like. Probably pretty slick still in Long Ridge single track area, though.
  23. Nice coat, I just bought one. They have bundle deal that adds an adventure helmet for $129. Thanks Joe Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Looks like fun, I may have to try that next year.
  25. I like the TU also, but I teach at a lot of temp sites and the trailers don't have many TU's. I would love that a little bigger sized in a 650 single
