  1. No meetup spot specifically. I'm planning on rolling out from my house around 4:45PM - takes me about 40-45mins to get to the track... track opens at 5PM, time trials start at 5:30PM... but if you get there soon enough before people unload trailers and crap, you can usually get two or three passes in before it gets too crowded, then you might only get 2 additional passes in before they close the lanes and run the race (around 8PM). My brother (SST3728) and my ol' man might be out there on their bikes too - my brother for sure, but not sure about my dad. So, I'm for sure going out there. Lenny (Avenger) is a maybe. It's going to be a cold ride home, that's all I know. Also note, that if you make it to the semi's or better and you ride out... you're going to have a really shitty time trying to get your trophy home. It can be done, but it's not a pleasant ride, trust me. I usually zip it up in the front of my jacket (that's how loose it is on me). Or, last time I went, I had a cager with me who took stuff home for me.
  2. Holy sh*t, you guys see the new paint scheme on the 'busa in the background?
  3. Arggggh. This would be a great ride, but I got roped into going to the Oktoberfest in Berea on Saturday.
  4. Only in our counties... I wonder how many people on the board are 'Echeck? WTF?' Having lived in Richland county most of my life, I was 'WTF' when I first learned about it here.
  5. Pics or it didn't happen. Get well man... I think you should heed the advice from the others' here. Nothing more I can say.
  6. Cool, I didn't know you also moonlighted as an Asian dentist.
  7. Have any NE'ers broke off a thread about riding down together? I made the first one, but not the second, and I could stand to have another lazy Sunday ride before it gets too cold.
  8. Flash some tit... that always went over well in my interviews. I love being an HR guy.
  9. I heard that it's an old unwritten Ohio law, but if you challenge a cop to a motorcycle joust, and win you get out of any infractions and earn a golden fiddle. If you lose, he gets your bike and your soul. Or, wait... maybe I'm confusing two things?
  10. I'm lost? Was that you on the bike?
  11. Actually, I've kinda see that KBS stuff as the "new tech" while POR-15 is "old tech" - been around for long enough to establish a rep. What I've read about the KBS stuff seems good, but I know very few that've used it, so the reputation isn't as good because it's not as well known. I've actually recommended both the POR-15 and KBS stuff for bike gas tank prep and sealer, but I'm a research guy - I've never used either.
  12. My neighbor has and swears by it. I've heard nothing but good things about it. I will tell you, do not get it on your skin or clothes. It does not come off - it takes about a month to shed enough skin to where it's gone.
  13. Apparently the officials are lax on tech then. The rider is still responsible.
  14. I would have to agree. I haven't read the AMA sanctioning guide, but I'd assume it says somewhere in there about bikes being prepped and legal for the event that they're competing. If some of the event is run on public roadways, then the bikes need to be plated, unless otherwise sanctioned by the local officials - which apparently isn't the case.

  18. Report: US makes $4 billion from bailout banks http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090831/ap_on_bi_ge/us_bailout_profits Socialism? More like ULTRA CAPITALISM. The money and profits are so good, even the gov't is getting a piece. $4B in profits.
